From the Hartford Courant, Feb 1, 2023:

Linda Jean (Gionfriddo) Holcomb passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 27, 2023. Linda was born to Amelita (Matos) Gionfriddo Barone and Vincent Gionfriddo on October 14, 1950.

Amelita "Lee" married Albert "Al" Barone who became the main father figure for Linda and her siblings. Linda married James Holcomb on December 19, 1969. Linda and Jim were very close with Linda's brother Gary and his wife Erin as they both raised their families. Linda, her twin sister Cheryl, and kid brother Gary were an inseparable trio throughout their youth. Lots of good times and sweet memories were made. Linda was a pillar in the Warehouse Point Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She began her journey as a publisher in February 1969, growing in her faith as she worked to become a full-time pioneer for several years. She dedicated her life to the "service" and even as she began to lose her independence, she found ways to spread the word of Jehovah, even organizing bible studies for fellow residents of Windsor Rehab. Linda was a gifted conversationalist making friends wherever she went. She spent the last 15 years as a resident at Windsor Rehab. Here Linda was an advocate for her fellow residents making sure their voices were heard and needs met.

Linda is predeceased by her husband Jim, her mother Lee and husband Al, father Vincent, and brother-in-law Joseph "Joe" Stuart. Linda leaves behind son James Holcomb and husband Sean of Florida, son Jeremy Holcomb and wife Sarah, granddaughters Ember and Violet of Connecticut, twin sister Cheryl (Gionfriddo) Stuart, brother Gary Gionfriddo and wife Erin, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and a grandniece, sister-in-law Cynthia (Holcomb) and husband John Rothwell. The family would like to extend a heartful thank you to the nurses, administrators, and staff of Windsor Rehab for the dedication and care you gave to Linda over the years.
