     Henry Hobart Maynard was born on 8 June 1830. He was the son of Stephen Maynard and Mary Phillips. Henry Hobart Maynard died on 15 July 1830 at age 0.

     Thomas Russell Hall was born on 3 October 1798 at Lebanon, NH. He was the son of Thomas Hall and Mary Russell. Thomas Russell Hall married Eliza Humphrey, daughter of Lemuel Gordon Humphrey and Dorcas Case, on 10 March 1822 at Liberty, Delaware Co., OH. Thomas Russell Hall died on 15 March 1862 at Powell, Delaware Co., OH, at age 63. He was buried at Powell Cemetery, Delaware Co., OH.¹

     John Wilson was born on 16 May 1809 at near Steubenville, Jefferson Co., OH. He was the son of John Wilson and Mary Cox. John Wilson married Sarah Humphrey, daughter of Lemuel Gordon Humphrey and Dorcas Case, on 1 January 1834.

     Robert Gordon McMaster was born on 23 December 1818 at Goshen Twp., Delaware Co., OH.^1,2 He was the son of Benjamin McMaster and Aminda Humphrey.¹ Robert Gordon McMaster married Mary Worline, daughter of Henry Worline and Catharine (?), on 13 June 1841 at Delaware Co., OH.³ Robert Gordon McMaster married Minerva Eaton, daughter of David Eaton and Elizabeth (?), on 4 March 1850 at Delaware Co., OH.^3,4 Robert Gordon McMaster died on 28 February 1873 at Delaware Co., OH, at age 54.^1,2 He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Kilbourn, Delaware Co., OH.²

None of the children by Robert's second marriage to Minerva survived infancy. His widow Minerva married again. ⁵

     Horace Plumb McMaster was born on 20 December 1821 at Goshen Twp., Delaware Co., OH.^1,2 He was the son of Benjamin McMaster and Aminda Humphrey.¹ Horace Plumb McMaster married Rebecca Main, daughter of Sabeeras Main and Sarah (?), on 19 January 1843 at Delaware Co., OH.³ Horace Plumb McMaster was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Kilbourn, Delaware Co., OH.²

Horace and Rebecca had no children of their own, but they adopted and brought up Mary Emma, duaghter of his brother Robert Gordon McMaster. They resided (1883) in Leonardsburgh, OH. ⁴

     William Abrose McMaster was born on 8 September 1823 at Goshen Twp., Delaware Co., OH.^1,2 He was the son of Benjamin McMaster and Aminda Humphrey.¹ William Abrose McMaster married Margaret Eaton, daughter of David Eaton and Elizabeth (?), on 7 December 1845 at Delaware Co., OH.^3,2 William Abrose McMaster lived in 1883 at Leonardsburgh, Delaware Co., OH. He died on 16 September 1895 at Delaware Co., OH, at age 72.² He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Kilbourn, Delaware Co., OH.²

     Mary Aminda Clark was born on 26 September 1824.¹ She was the daughter of David Clark and Laura Humphrey.¹ Mary Aminda Clark died on 28 August 1828 at Delaware Co., OH, at age 3.^1,2

     Sarah Lurenda Clark was born on 24 July 1826.¹ She was the daughter of David Clark and Laura Humphrey.¹

     Emma Josephine Sullivan was born on 6 June 1854 at near Dubln, OH.¹ She was the daughter of Perry Sullivan and Lydia Marilla Clark.¹ Emma Josephine Sullivan died on 5 April 1871 at Delaware Co., OH, at age 16.¹

     John Franklin Sullivan was born on 12 December 1856 at Dublin, Franklin Co., OH. He was the son of Perry Sullivan and Lydia Marilla Clark.

     Pierson P. Slack was born on 27 March 1820 at Hampshire Co., VA.¹ He married Mary Geach.¹ Pierson P. Slack married Mary Lorana Clark, daughter of David Clark and Laura Humphrey, on 22 September 1881 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ Pierson P. Slack died on 18 September 1885 at Delaware Co., OH, at age 65.¹ He was buried at Powell Cemetery, Powell, Delaware Co., OH.¹

Webber on 25 December 1865 at Wyandot Co., OH.² John Wellington Clark died on 9 January 1898 at Delaware Co., OH, at age 66.² He was buried at Powell Cemetery, Powell, Delaware Co., OH.²

John and Mary had no children of their own, but adopted two children who now bear the surname of Clark: --Rena and Curtis. John served as a private in Company K of the 145th Ohio Volunteer Infantry.³

     Mary A. Webber was born on 13 December 1835 at NH.¹ She married John Wellington Clark, son of David Clark and Laura Humphrey, on 25 December 1865 at Wyandot Co., OH.¹ Mary A. Webber died on 31 July 1910 at Cardington, Morrow Co., OH, at age 74.¹ She was buried at Powell Cemetery, Powell, Delaware Co., OH.¹

     Laura Clark was born on 6 September 1834 at Delaware Co., OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of David Clark and Laura Humphrey.¹ Laura Clark married Benjamin B. Nafzger, son of Jacob Nafzger and Elizabeth (?), on 28 March 1867 at Franklin Co., OH.² Laura Clark died on 11 December 1901 at Powell, Delaware Co., OH, at age 67.² She was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, Franklin Co., OH.²

     Benjamin B. Nafzger was born on 25 August 1835 at Lebanon, PA.¹ He was the son of Jacob Nafzger and Elizabeth (?). Benjamin B. Nafzger married Laura Clark, daughter of David Clark and Laura Humphrey, on 28 March 1867 at Franklin Co., OH.¹ Benjamin B. Nafzger died on 21 February 1899 at Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH, at age 63.¹ He was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, Franklin Co., OH.¹

     Curtis Clark Nafzger was born on 27 January 1869 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Benjamin B. Nafzger and Laura Clark.¹ Curtis Clark Nafzger died on 14 October 1873 at Delaware Co., OH, at age 4.¹

     Pearl Benjamin Nafzger was born on 10 April 1871 at Powell, Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin B. Nafzger and Laura Clark. Pearl Benjamin Nafzger died on 5 September 1886 at age 15.¹

     J. C. Glenwood Nafzger was born on 8 April 1878 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Benjamin B. Nafzger and Laura Clark.¹ J. C. Glenwood Nafzger died on 1 January 1879 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH, at age 0.¹

     Mary Maynard was born on 14 April 1833 at Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Stephen Maynard and Lurenda Humphrey.¹ Mary Maynard died on 27 August 1880 at Tipton, Cedar Co., IA, at age 47; single.¹

Mary spent eighteen years of her life in the conduct of an Orphan Home near Iowa City, and during her last years was matron of a boarding-school at Lyons, Iowa; was unmarried. "Her deep personal piety, and her self-sacrificing devotion to duty, will surely keep her memory green in the hearts of the lowly ones to whom she so faithfully ministered. She lived for Christ and his church, and for suffering humanity." She died from cancer.

     Son Maynard was born on 9 September 1834.¹ He was the son of Stephen Maynard and Lurenda Humphrey. Son Maynard died; in infancy.

     Henry Hobart Maynard MD was born on 6 September 1835 at Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.² He was the son of Stephen Maynard and Lurenda Humphrey. Henry Hobart Maynard MD married Susan Huldah Edwards, daughter of Brig. Gen. John Edwards and Eliza J. (?), on 5 September 1865 at Chariton, Lucas Co., IA.

Henry remained upon the farm till he attained his majority, then attended the Iowa State University for one year, after which he began the study of medicine at Iowa City,Iowa, with Drs. Lloyd and Statler. In 1861, he graduated M. D. from Rush Medical College, Chicago, Ill., and settled in Tipton, Iowa. In August, 1862 he was commissioned Assistant Surgeon of the 18th Reg. Iowa Vol. Infantry, and was assigned to duty as a Ward Surgeon in the U.. S. General Hospital at Springfield, Mo., so continuing from 6 Nov. 1862 till May, 1863; was then appointed Surgeon-in-Chief of the same, remaining such till the fall of 1863; when he was ordered South with his Regiment, and was assigned to duty as Examiner of Federal recruits in Central Arkansas. In March, 1864, he was ordered to Springfield, Mo., where he mustered as Surgeon of the 2d Arkansas Cavalry, and was shortly after appointed Medical Director and Purveyor of the troops in the District of south-west Missouri. In the fall of the same year, he was on active duty with the forces against Gen. Price in his raid through Missouri. Jan. 1st, 1865, he joined his regiment at Memphis, Tenn., and was assigned to duty as Surgeon-in-Chief of the Cavalry Division of West Tennessee, and so remained till he was mustered out, 20 Aug. 1865, at Memphis, by reason of the close of the war. He was married, and then returned to Tipton, Iowa, and resumed the practice of his profession. In 1874-5 he attended a session of Bellevue Hospital Medical College, New York City, and received the ad eundem degree. In the fall of 1881, he, with his family, removed to Los Angeles, CAl., where he is now (1883) located in practice; --firm of Drs. Maynard & Cochran, Mascarel Block.

     Susan Huldah Edwards was born on 20 July 1844 at Bedford, IN. She was the daughter of Brig. Gen. John Edwards and Eliza J. (?). Susan Huldah Edwards married Henry Hobart Maynard MD, son of Stephen Maynard and Lurenda Humphrey, on 5 September 1865 at Chariton, Lucas Co., IA.

     Maud Maynard was born on 12 August 1866 at Tipton, Cedar Co., IA. She was the daughter of Henry Hobart Maynard MD and Susan Huldah Edwards.

     Rae Edwards Maynard was born on 17 July 1870 at Tipton, Cedar Co., IA. Rae Edwards Maynard was the child of Henry Hobart Maynard MD and Susan Huldah Edwards.

     Frederick Grey Maynard was born on 2 May 1872 at Tipton, Cedar Co., IA. He was the son of Henry Hobart Maynard MD and Susan Huldah Edwards.
