Green, son of Thomas Green and Hannah Metzger, on 8 December 1885. Eva Sophia Viets died on 2 July 1951 at Lewiston, NY, at age 87. She was buried at Madison, Lake Co., OH.

     Jessie M. Viets was born on 20 August 1865 at Beloit, WI. She was the daughter of Shalor Nelson Viets and Catharine Gillett. Jessie M. Viets married John T. Collister, son of John Thomas Collister and Helen Foss, on 12 December 1885 at Hebron, NE.

     Mabel Tacy Viets was born on 25 October 1866 at Painesville, Lake Co., OH. She was the daughter of Shalor Nelson Viets and Catharine Gillett. Mabel Tacy Viets married John E. Kent, son of John Kent and Lorania Burdick, on 14 March 1889.

     Kathleen L. Viets was born on 16 March 1869 at Conneaut, Ashtabula Co., OH. She was the daughter of Shalor Nelson Viets and Catharine Gillett. Kathleen L. Viets married Eugene Prouty, son of Royal Prouty and Mary Crawford, on 18 April 1894 at Madison, Lake Co., OH. Kathleen L. Viets died in November 1950 at Madison, Lake Co., OH, at age 81.

     Ella M. King married Gaylor G. Viets, son of Zopher Viets and Tracy Hillyer, on 8 September 1868 at Kingsville, Ashtabula Co., OH. Ella M. King died in 1900.

     Judah Dryden Viets was born on 2 February 1823 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Dan Viets and Beula Phelps. Judah Dryden Viets married Caroline E. Rowley, daughter of Silas Rowley Jr. and Abigail Holcombe, on 28 October 1846.² Judah Dryden Viets died on 29 March 1909 at age 86.²

     Nancy Ann Viets was born on 3 July 1801 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.^2,3 She was the daughter of Luke Viets Jr. and Abigail Phelps. Nancy Ann Viets married Warren Case, son of Benjamin Case and Elizabeth Allen, on 26 November 1822. Nancy Ann Viets died on 4 April 1884 at West Suffield, Hartford Co., CT, at age 82.

     Orville Parsons Case was born on 9 November 1814 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT.² He was the son of Simeon Case and Naomi Moore. Orville Parsons Case married Emeline Caroline Viets, daughter of Luke Viets Jr. and Abigail Phelps, on 27 November 1839 at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT.² Orville Parsons Case died on 19 May 1888 at age 73.²

     Emeline Caroline Viets was born on 2 February 1818 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.² She was the daughter of Luke Viets Jr. and Abigail Phelps. Emeline Caroline Viets married Orville Parsons Case, son of Simeon Case and Naomi Moore, on 27 November 1839 at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT.² Emeline Caroline Viets died on 18 March 1895 at age 77.²

     Luke Viets Jr. was born on 2 August 1780 at Newgate, Simsbury, CT. He was the son of Lt. Luke Viets and Keziah Phelps. Luke Viets Jr. married Abigail Phelps, daughter of Judah Phelps and Abigail Bishop, on 4 June 1798. Luke Viets Jr. died on 30 April 1821 at age 40.

     Abigail Phelps was born on 27 May 1781. She was the daughter of Judah Phelps and Abigail Bishop. Abigail Phelps married Luke Viets Jr., son of Lt. Luke Viets and Keziah Phelps, on 4 June 1798. Abigail Phelps died on 16 May 1831 at age 49.

     Horace Orville Case was born on 27 July 1841 at Feeding Hills, MA.¹ He was the son of Orville Parsons Case and Emeline Caroline Viets. Horace Orville Case married Laura Ann Tucker, daughter of Elias Tucker and Mary L. Bates, on 10 September 1862 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Horace Orville Case died on 25 September 1912 at age 71.¹

     Laura Ann Tucker was born on 10 September 1841 at Greenport, LI, NY.¹ She was the daughter of Elias Tucker and Mary L. Bates. Laura Ann Tucker married Horace Orville Case, son of Orville Parsons Case and Emeline Caroline Viets, on 10 September 1862 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Laura Ann Tucker died on 8 February 1910 at age 68.¹

     Sarah Jane Case was born in August 1843 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Orville Parsons Case and Emeline Caroline Viets. Sarah Jane Case died in August 1845.¹

     Charles Henry Case was born on 4 September 1845 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Orville Parsons Case and Emeline Caroline Viets. Charles Henry Case died on 6 August 1867 at age 21.¹

Perhaps the Charles H. who served in the 16th Connecticut Regiment, Volunteer Infantry.

     Albert Marcus Case was born on 12 February 1852 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Orville Parsons Case and Emeline Caroline Viets. Albert Marcus Case died in infancy.¹

     Albert Marcus Case was born on 11 February 1854 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Orville Parsons Case and Emeline Caroline Viets. Albert Marcus Case married Ella J. Goodhue. Albert Marcus Case died on 13 September 1938 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, at age 84.¹

     Ella J. Goodhue married Albert Marcus Case, son of Orville Parsons Case and Emeline Caroline Viets. Ella J. Goodhue died on 9 March 1923.

     William Arthur Case was born on 10 January 1857 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Orville Parsons Case and Emeline Caroline Viets. William Arthur Case died on 17 June 1858 at age 1.¹

     Frederick Everett Case was born on 16 December 1861 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Orville Parsons Case and Emeline Caroline Viets. Frederick Everett Case died on 3 December 1881 at age 19.¹

     Frank A. Rogers was born on 12 June 1840. He was the son of Robert B. Rogers and Mariah Henlen Munger. Frank A. Rogers married Amanda E. Viets, daughter of Armenus E. Viets and Delia U. Smith, on 5 November 1871. Frank A. Rogers died on 23 January 1931 at age 90.

     Hannah Marie Neilson was born on 10 September 1871 at Denmark. She was the daughter of Neils C. Neilson and Katerina Anderson. Hannah Marie Neilson married Henry Wells Holcombe, son of Henry G. Holcombe and Abbie L. Winchel, say December 1891.¹ Hannah Marie Neilson died on 5 January 1940 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT, at age 68. She was buried on 8 January 1940 at Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.

     Raymond was a farmer at Farrell Farms, Simsbury, educated in the Bloomfield School System, a Methodist.

Dorothy was in Business Management at Westfield, MA; Westfield High School, Bay Path Junior College, a Methodist. Raymond Howard Holcombe was born on 31 October 1905 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Henry Wells Holcombe and Hannah Marie Neilson. Raymond Howard Holcombe married Dorothy Smith, daughter of Leon Moses Smith and Clara Porter. Raymond Howard Holcombe died on 10 August 1960 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 54. He was buried on 12 August 1960 at Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.

     Mable A. Holcombe was born in August 1892 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Henry Wells Holcombe and Hannah Marie Neilson. Mable A. Holcombe died on 14 December 1960 at CT at age 68. She was buried on 17 December 1960 at Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.

     Edith Maria Holcombe was born on 17 May 1894 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Henry Wells Holcombe and Hannah Marie Neilson. Edith Maria Holcombe married Harold J. Watkins. Edith Maria Holcombe died on 21 February 1969 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 74.

     Clara R. Holcombe was born on 26 June 1896 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Henry Wells Holcombe and Hannah Marie Neilson. Clara R. Holcombe married Carl Johnson in 1926. Clara R. Holcombe died on 2 January 1952 at Preston, CT, at age 55.

     Henry Eddie Holcombe was born on 17 March 1899 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Henry Wells Holcombe and Hannah Marie Neilson. Henry Eddie Holcombe married Ruth E. Weiant on 4 October 1924 at East Hartford, Hartford Co., CT. Henry Eddie Holcombe died in July 1982 at Elkins, Merrimack Co., NH, at age 83.¹ He was buried at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.

Henry and Ruth were enumerated in the 1930 Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT, federal census, district 91. He was 31, a milk dealer, she was 30. Children in the household were Eleanor 5, and Edward 1.

     Richard was a truck driver. Gladys Holcombe was born on 30 October 1903 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Henry Wells Holcombe and Hannah Marie Neilson. Gladys Holcombe married Richard O. Platt. Gladys Holcombe died on 9 March 1968 at Newington, CT, at age 64. She was buried on 12 March 1968 at Newington, CT.

     Dorothy Smith was born on 27 October 1907 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Leon Moses Smith and Clara Porter. Dorothy Smith married Raymond Howard Holcombe, son of Henry Wells Holcombe and Hannah Marie Neilson. Dorothy Smith died on 29 October 2000 at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, at age 93.^2,1

Dorothy's obituary indicated that her father's name was William H. Smith.

     Leon Moses Smith married Clara Porter. Leon Moses Smith was born in 1874. He died in 1934.
