     Cora May York was born on 6 May 1893 at Mt. View, Howell Co., MO. She married George Herbert Holcombe, son of Orlando Holcombe and Jida Stultz, on 7 January 1911 at Carthage, Jasper Co., MO. Cora May York died in April 1965 at age 71.¹

     Eugene Lorce Holcombe was born on 4 July 1918 at Carthage, Jasper Co., MO. He was the son of George Herbert Holcombe and Cora May York.

     Vera Lorence Holcombe was born on 27 September 1918 at House, Quay Co., NM. She was the daughter of Lee Holcombe and Gertrude Mary Tibbitts. Vera Lorence Holcombe married Roy Emmerson Whitehead.

Isaac Messenger married Anne Ward, daughter of William Gamaliel Ward and Damaris Holcombe. Isaac Messenger died on 8 May 1839 at Lake Co., OH, at age 92.

     Hannah Messenger was born at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Isaac Messenger and Anne Ward. Hannah Messenger married Joseph Tuttle, son of John Tuttle and Eunice Allen. Hannah Messenger died on 31 January 1812 at Pompey, Onondaga Co., NY.

     Joseph Tuttle was born on 31 August 1756 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT. He was the son of John Tuttle and Eunice Allen. Joseph Tuttle married Hannah Messenger, daughter of Isaac Messenger and Anne Ward. Joseph Tuttle died on 13 May 1816 at Lowell, Oneida Co., NY, at age 59.

     Emma Cook was the daughter of Joseph Cook and Hanna Sick.

     Jeremiah Joseph McCarthy was born on 31 October 1893. He married Alice Elizabeth Holcombe, daughter of Survellon Burr Holcombe and Roseanna Jane Cook, on 21 July 1928. Jeremiah Joseph McCarthy died on 17 December 1943 at age 50.

     Ada Lucille Comfort was born on 6 May 1910 at Troy, Bradford Co., PA. She was the daughter of Burt Comfort and Alta Wheeler. Ada Lucille Comfort married Pierson Joseph Holcombe, son of Survellon Burr Holcombe and Roseanna Jane Cook, on 4 July 1931 at Moundsville, Marshall Co., WV. Ada Lucille Comfort died on 20 November 2004 at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living Facility, Cherry Hill, NJ, at age 94.
