     Thomas Barber was born on 13 April 1773 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Jacob Barber and Patience Lawrence. Thomas Barber married Percy Merrill on 15 November 1797. Thomas Barber died on 17 September 1848 at age 75.

     Peter Barber was born on 6 March 1775 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Jacob Barber and Patience Lawrence.

     Susannah Barber was born on 9 January 1777 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Jacob Barber and Patience Lawrence. Susannah Barber married Benjamin Hosford, son of Ezekial Hosford and Mercy Miller.

     Benjamin Hosford was born on 22 May 1767. He was the son of Ezekial Hosford and Mercy Miller. Benjamin Hosford married Susannah Barber, daughter of Jacob Barber and Patience Lawrence. Benjamin Hosford died on 23 May 1808 at age 41.

     Benjamin Correll Hosford was born. He was the son of Benjamin Hosford and Susannah Barber.

     Reuben S. Hosford was born between 1795 and 1796. He was the son of Benjamin Hosford and Susannah Barber. Reuben S. Hosford died on 2 March 1820.

     Henry B. Hosford was born. He was the son of Benjamin Hosford and Susannah Barber.

     Damaris Corinthia Hosford was born circa 1806. She was the daughter of Benjamin Hosford and Susannah Barber.

     Candace Barber married Naaman Phelps, son of Abijah Phelps and Huldah Hutchinson. Candace Barber was born on 30 September 1779 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Jacob Barber and Patience Lawrence.

     Naaman Phelps married Candace Barber, daughter of Jacob Barber and Patience Lawrence. Naaman Phelps was born on 17 June 1772 at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT. He was the son of Abijah Phelps and Huldah Hutchinson.

     Martha Crow was the daughter of Christopher Crow and Mary (?). Martha Crow married Timothy Phelps, son of Lt. Timothy Phelps and Mary Griswold, on 4 November 1686. Martha Crow died at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT.

     Noah Phelps was born on 23 January 1694 at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT.² He was the son of Timothy Phelps and Martha Crow. Noah Phelps died in 1794 at Hillsdale, NY.²

     Abijah Phelps was born on 8 March 1734 at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT. He was the son of Noah Phelps and Anna Dyer.² Abijah Phelps married Huldah Hutchinson on 22 April 1761. Abijah Phelps married Susannah Noble, daughter of Thomas Noble and Susanna Cole.

     Huldah Hutchinson was born at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT. She married Abijah Phelps, son of Noah Phelps and Anna Dyer, on 22 April 1761.

     Susannah Noble was born on 11 August 1749 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Noble and Susanna Cole. Susannah Noble married Abijah Phelps, son of Noah Phelps and Anna Dyer. Susannah Noble died on 3 April 1838 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA, at age 88.¹

     Daniel Barber was born on 18 December 1781. He was the son of Jacob Barber and Patience Lawrence. Daniel Barber married Sally Bishop, daughter of Abrahma Bishop and Mary (?), on 30 April 1804 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.

     Sally Bishop was born at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Abrahma Bishop and Mary (?). Sally Bishop was baptized on 21 April 1782 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT. She married Daniel Barber, son of Jacob Barber and Patience Lawrence, on 30 April 1804 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.

     Mercy Barber was born on 11 October 1787 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Jacob Barber and Patience Lawrence.

     Infant Barber died young. Infant Barber was born in 1790 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. Infant Barber was the child of Jacob Barber and Patience Lawrence.

     Abraham Barber was born in 1767. He was the son of Abraham Barber and Sarah Wood.

     Luman Barber was born in 1770. He was the son of Abraham Barber and Sarah Wood. Luman Barber died in 1796.

     Job Barber was born in 1775. He was the son of Abraham Barber and Sarah Wood.

     Joseph Barber was born in 1777. He was the son of Abraham Barber and Sarah Wood.

     Mary Loomis was born on 15 November 1694 at CT. She was the daughter of Hezekiah Loomis and Mary Porter. Mary Loomis married Thomas Diggins, son of Jeremiah Diggins and Mary Caldwell, on 31 December 1719.

     The CT Genealogies Book says there is no record of any children, but Loomis shows a son, Thomas. Since Thomas' estate was filed April 2, 1720, the child would have been born after his death. Thomas Diggins was born after 1684. He was the son of Jeremiah Diggins and Mary Caldwell. Thomas Diggins married Mary Loomis, daughter of Hezekiah Loomis and Mary Porter, on 31 December 1719.

     Elizabeth Humphrey was born on 21 December 1751 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Noah Humphrey Jr. and Elizabeth Buttolph. Elizabeth Humphrey married Azariah Barber, son of Sgt. Thomas Barber and Elizabeth Adams, circa 1775. Elizabeth Humphrey died in 1826 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT.

     Almond Ebenezer Holcombe was born on 20 January 1868 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.² He was the son of Martin Philander Holcombe and Abigail Blood. Almond Ebenezer Holcombe married Ellen L. Stevenson circa 1896.³ Almond Ebenezer Holcombe died on 17 April 1922 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 54.² He was buried at Center Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT; I-170.⁴

Carol Laun looked up Almond in the Granby Town Records and found him in Vol 2, page 181, listing his parents and birth date and place.

Almond is listed in the 1900 Granby census, page 11B, line 58, with wife Ellen, and children Maud and Lewis A.

Almond is listed in the 1920 Granby census, page 10A, line 4, with wife Ellen, and children Alfred L., Ruth, Arthur A., Henry W., Florence, and Carl B. He was a tobacco farmer.

Widow Ellen was enumerated in the 1930 Granby, Hartford Co., CT, federal census, district 143. Children in the household were Alfred 27, Arthur 22, and Henry 20.

     Ellen L. Stevenson was born on 31 July 1876 at Karlslund, Sweden. She married Almond Ebenezer Holcombe, son of Martin Philander Holcombe and Abigail Blood, circa 1896.¹ Ellen L. Stevenson died on 4 July 1961 at State Hospital, Middletown, Middlesex Co., CT, at age 84. She was buried at Center Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT.² Granby VR, page 80; 15-190.

     Granby VR, page 80. Maude S. Holcombe was born on 25 March 1898 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Almond Ebenezer Holcombe and Ellen L. Stevenson.

     Granby VR, pages 86, 522. His gravestone shows 1902-1905, but the Burials in the Granby Center Cemetery notes the error. Harris E. Holcombe was born on 3 January 1902 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Almond Ebenezer Holcombe and Ellen L. Stevenson. Harris E. Holcombe died on 2 September 1904 at West Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 2.

     Alfred Lewis Holcombe was born on 1 February 1900 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 He was the son of Almond Ebenezer Holcombe and Ellen L. Stevenson. Alfred Lewis Holcombe died on 31 May 1981 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 81.²

     Ruth L. Holcombe was born on 27 November 1904 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Almond Ebenezer Holcombe and Ellen L. Stevenson. Ruth L. Holcombe married George Milton Hansen, son of William Karl Emil Hansen and Emma May Roberts, on 6 October 1923 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ Ruth L. Holcombe died on 3 December 1992 at Wilbraham, MA, at age 88.²

     Arthur Almond Holcombe was born on 19 September 1907 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 He was the son of Almond Ebenezer Holcombe and Ellen L. Stevenson. Arthur Almond Holcombe died on 25 April 1979 at North Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 71.^1,2
