     Mary Chidley married John Holcombe, son of Ellis Holcombe and Elizabeth Suydenham, in 1561.

     He is likely the George with children at Bishops, Nympton, Devon. There is also a marriage record in 1600 for William Holcomb m. Katherine Vicarye in this parish. George Holcombe was born in 1542. He was the son of Ellis Holcombe and Elizabeth Suydenham. George Holcombe married Agnes Myldon in 1578 at Branscombe, Devon.

     Agnes Myldon married George Holcombe, son of Ellis Holcombe and Elizabeth Suydenham, in 1578 at Branscombe, Devon.

     It is not known if Walter had children, but there is a Walter of Halberton, Devon, and another in Cuckfield, Susses with wife Elizabeth. The births of the following children in Devon would indicate thate there is probably a generation missing: Richard (1620) and Edward (1627). Walter Holcombe was born in 1550. He was the son of Ellis Holcombe and Elizabeth Suydenham.

     Jane (Mary) Holcombe was born in 1552. She was the daughter of Ellis Holcombe and Elizabeth Suydenham. Jane (Mary) Holcombe married William Lanford.

     Wilmot Holcombe was born in 1595 at Pemberton, NJ. He was the son of Tristian Holcombe and Georgiana Porter.

     Ursula Holcombe was born in 1565. She was the daughter of John Holcombe and Mary Chidley.

     Elizabeth Holcombe was born in 1569. She was the daughter of John Holcombe and Mary Chidley.

     John Holcombe was born in 1579. He was the son of George Holcombe and Agnes Myldon.

     Robert Holcombe died d.y. He was born in 1583. He was the son of George Holcombe and Agnes Myldon.

     Henri Holcombe was born in 1585. He was the son of George Holcombe and Agnes Myldon.

     Richard Holcombe died d.y. He was born in 1589. He was the son of George Holcombe and Agnes Myldon.

     Henry Lanford was the son of William Lanford and Jane (Mary) Holcombe.

     Mary Lanford was the daughter of William Lanford and Jane (Mary) Holcombe.

     Nathaniel Buell was born on 29 September 1700 at Potsdam, NY. He was the son of Capt. Samuel Buell and Judith Stevens. Nathaniel Buell married Deborah Horton on 14 November 1721.

McCracken does not mention this child of Capt. Samuel and Judith Stevens Buell.

     Deacon John Loomis was born on 9 November 1649 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Deacon John Loomis and Elizabeth Scott. Deacon John Loomis died on 31 August 1715 at age 65.²

     Deacon John Loomis was born circa 1622 at Essex, England.³ He was the son of Joseph Loomis and Mary White. Deacon John Loomis married Elizabeth Scott, daughter of Thomas Scott and Ann (?), on 3 February 1648/49. Deacon John Loomis died on 1 September 1688 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

"He was admitted to the Windsor Church Oct. 11, 1640. On May 3, 1643, he had granted him from the Plantation 40 acres of land. he resided in Farmington from 1652 to 1660, when he returned to Windsor, and was Deacon fo the church. He was deputy to the General Ct. in 1666 and '7, also from 1675 to 1687. His monument is still preserved in the Windsor burying ground. His will is preserved in the Probate office at Hartford, and his name is signed John Loomys." ⁴

     Elizabeth Scott was born in 1625. She was the daughter of Thomas Scott and Ann (?). Elizabeth Scott married Deacon John Loomis, son of Joseph Loomis and Mary White, on 3 February 1648/49. Elizabeth Scott died on 7 May 1696.

     Mary Buell was born on 11 December 1696. She was the daughter of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis.

     John Buell Jr. was born on 1 February 1698 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT. He was the son of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis. John Buell Jr. married Freedom Strong, daughter of Jedediah Strong Jr. and Abiah (Abijah) Ingersoll, on 19 May 1726 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT. John Buell Jr. died in 1785.

     Isaac Buell was born on 27 March 1701. He was the son of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis.

     Abigail Buell was born on 26 March 1702. She was the daughter of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis. Abigail Buell married Stephen Strong, son of Jedediah Strong Jr. and Abiah (Abijah) Ingersoll, on 16 January 1718. Abigail Buell died on 24 October 1788 at age 86.

     Hannah Buell was born on 7 December 1703. She was the daughter of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis.

     Lois Buell was born on 12 March 1706. She was the daughter of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis. Lois Buell married Supply Strong, son of Jedediah Strong Jr. and Abiah (Abijah) Ingersoll, on 16 January 1722 or 1723. Lois Buell died on 26 April 1730 at age 24.

     Peter Buell was born on 22 May 1710. He was the son of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis. Peter Buell married Avis Collins on 26 December 1734.

     Ebenezer Buell was born on 16 March 1713. He was the son of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis. Ebenezer Buell married Dorothy Gillett. Ebenezer Buell died on 28 February 1801 at age 87.

     Solomon Buell was born on 30 August 1715. He was the son of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis. Solomon Buell married Eunice Griswold, daughter of Jacob Griswold and Comfort Buck, on 19 January 1737/38 at Litchfield, Litchfield Co., CT. Solomon Buell died on 22 March 1795 at age 79.

Jonathan Buel's will (Litchfield Probate District records, #1072, town of Goshen, on microfilm at the CT State Library, Hartford, CT) states "I appoint Lidia, my loving wife, and my two eldest sons, Jesse & Jonathan, my Excutors to Execute this my last Will and testament."

The will, written 2 March 1793, also states that he has "five sons and three daughters." However, I believe there were 10 children, two of which were deceased at the time of the writing of the will.
Jonathan Buell was born on 13 December 1717 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT. He was the son of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis. Jonathan Buell married Lydia Landon on 10 December 1741. Jonathan Buell died on 20 August 1796 at Goshen, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 78.

     Elizabeth Buell was born on 27 April 1720. She was the daughter of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis.

     Rachel Buell was born on 22 May 1723. She was the daughter of Deacon John Buell and Mary Loomis. Rachel Buell married Thomas Grant Capt., son of Thomas Grant and Sarah Pinney, on 6 December 1738.

     Abigail Barber was born in 1706. She was the daughter of Thomas Barber and Abigail Buell. Abigail Barber married Jacob Case, son of Joseph Case and Ann Eno, on 31 October 1728 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² Abigail Barber died on 8 January 1779 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.³ She was buried at Simsbury Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³

     Jacob Case was born on 19 March 1701/2 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Joseph Case and Ann Eno. Jacob Case married Abigail Barber, daughter of Thomas Barber and Abigail Buell, on 31 October 1728 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³ Jacob Case died on 23 July 1763 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 61.⁴ He was buried at Simsbury Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.⁴

     Abigail Case was born on 12 January 1731 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Jacob Case and Abigail Barber. Abigail Case married Daniel Hoskins, son of Daniel Hoskins and Elizabeth Phelps. Abigail Case died on 20 June 1806 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 75.

     Sarah Case was born on 5 June 1733 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Jacob Case and Abigail Barber. Sarah Case married Elijah Tuller, son of Jacob Tuller and Mary Moses, in 1751. Sarah Case died on 20 December 1798 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 65.

     Jacob Case was born on 19 June 1735 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Jacob Case and Abigail Barber.

     Jesse Case was born on 19 May 1738 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Jacob Case and Abigail Barber. Jesse Case married Sarah Humphrey, daughter of Noah Humphrey and Hannah Case, on 20 November 1766 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² Jesse Case died on 3 October 1807 at age 69.² He was buried at Hopmeadow Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.²

Jesse served in Capt. Jonathan Pettibone's Co. of Militia, campaign of 1757 to Fort Edward in the French & Indian War.

Anna Case married Solomon Case, son of Joseph Case and Hannah Humphrey, on 17 May 1758 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Anna Case died on 6 April 1817 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 77. She was buried at Hopmeadow Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.
