For someone who died in 1899, Henry seemed quite well on June 1st, 1900 for the 1900 Census of East Granby. He is listed on page 1A, line 14, with Hattie. He is 67 and has been married for 33 years and he and Hattie have had no children. He is a farmer.

     Hattie Holcombe lived at Belmont, Alleghany Co., NY. She was born in August 1841 at CT.¹ She was the daughter of Ira Holcombe. Hattie Holcombe married Henry Pinney Holcombe, son of Joel Collis Holcombe and Fanny Pinney, circa 1867.
