     Martha Puela Hall was born on 29 September 1818 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co., VT. She was the daughter of Elihu Hall and Hannah Scott. Martha Puela Hall died on 11 September 1875 at age 56.

     Rebecca Mary Phelps was born on 15 January 1895 at Edgerton, OH.¹ She was the daughter of Drayton Canfield Phelps and Roxie Caroline Pearce. Rebecca Mary Phelps married Chester Harvey Holcombe, son of Charles Joseph Holcombe and Edith Sarah King, on 18 March 1915 at Edgerton, OH. Rebecca Mary Phelps died on 31 December 1980 at East Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 85.¹ She was buried at Copper Hill Cemetery, East Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Drayton Canfield Phelps was born on 13 July 1868 at Edgerton, OH. He married Roxie Caroline Pearce on 14 January 1894 at Ney, OH. Drayton Canfield Phelps died on 30 August 1927 at Edgerton, OH, at age 59.

     Roxie Caroline Pearce was born on 16 December 1869 at Ney, OH. She married Drayton Canfield Phelps on 14 January 1894 at Ney, OH. Roxie Caroline Pearce died on 22 May 1956 at Edgerton, OH, at age 86.

     Carlton Chester Holcombe was born on 17 February 1920 at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Chester Harvey Holcombe and Rebecca Mary Phelps. Carlton Chester Holcombe married Vivian Catherine Diters, daughter of Edward Diters and Mae Donnelly, on 28 February 1942 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Carlton Chester Holcombe married Jane Curtiss, daughter of Charles Edson Curtiss II and Mardula Green, on 30 December 1978 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Carlton Chester Holcombe lived in 1981 at Tequesta, FL. He died on 5 September 2005 at Stuart, Martin Co., FL, at age 85. He was buried on 15 September 2005 at Silver Street Cemetery, Granville, Hampden Co., MA.

Carlton C. Holcomb, Sr., 85, of Jupiter, FL, formerly of North Granby, died Monday, (sept. 5, 2005), in Stuart, FL. Born in Suffield, February 17, 1920, son of the late Chester H. and Rebecca (Phelps) Holcomb, he grew up in Granby. He graduated from Simsbury High School in 1938. Carlton sserved in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a pilot during WWII, after 29 years of service he retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserves, 905th Group, 337 Troup Carrier Squadron at Westover AFT, as a Lt. Col. and Squadron Commander. He was enployed at Pratt & Whitney for over 20 years, teaching Advance Math in addition to his job as Supervisor of Quality Control. He moved with Pratt & Whitney to Florida a couple of years prior to his retirement in 1979. Carlton served on the Granby Board of Education for 8 years. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Granby and served on the Building Committee. He was a member of the Granby Ambulance Assn. when it first started, worked on teh Granby Community Fund and was a member of the Granby Lion's Club. In Florida, he was active in Real Estate, community programs including the Rotary International and the Loxahatchee Historical Society where he was fund raising Chairman for the Historical Museum. He was predeceased by his first wife, Vivian (Diters) Holcomb, and his second wife, Jane (Curtiss) Beaumont Holcomb, and a daughter-in-law, Susan Casassa Holcomb. He leaves a son, Carlton C. Holcomb, Jr., of Norfolk; two daughters, Linda Dee and her husband, James White, of Baggs, WY, Susan Holcomb Voudren of Tolland, MA; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter, Madeline. Carlton also leaves two brothers and sisters-in-law, Crayton C. and Lois Holcomb, of West Suffield, George H. and Grace (Honey) Holcomb of Lake Worth, TX; two sisters, Edith Gibson of Suffield and Katherine (Sweatland Gibson) and Jim Graham of Green Cove Springs, FL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 219 North Granby Road, Granby, with the Reverend Bridget Hughes and Reverend Mark Diters officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Street Cemetery, Granville, MA with full military honors.

     Matthew Saxe Thomas was the son of Rowland S. Thomas and Abigail Brown. Matthew Saxe Thomas married Louisa J. Hall, daughter of Hiram Hall and Susan Hall, before 1866.

     Oliver J. Thomas was the son of Rowland S. Thomas and Abigail Brown. Oliver J. Thomas married Julia Ann Hall, daughter of Hiram Hall and Susan Hall.

     Lucas Hall was born in 1830 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co., VT. He was the son of Simeon Hall and Martha Cochran. Lucas Hall died on 9 December 1852.

     Stratton: "Weltha Hall evidently died before 1880 per Simon Hall's Estate Division record 15 Nov. 1880. In this Est. Div., there is named Eldon L. Johnson, Hartland C. Johnson, Herbert G. Johnson, Heirs of Weltha Johnson." Weltha Hall was born circa 1834. She was the daughter of Simeon Hall and Martha Cochran.

     Roxanna P. Hall was born circa 1837 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co., VT. She was the daughter of Simeon Hall and Martha Cochran.

     Celinda A. Hall was born circa 1841 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co., VT. She was the daughter of Simeon Hall and Martha Cochran. Celinda A. Hall died on 23 August 1869 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co., VT.

     Marinda A. Hall was born circa 1845 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co., VT. She was the daughter of Simeon Hall and Martha Cochran. Marinda A. Hall died on 6 August 1868 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co., VT. She was buried at South Cemetery, Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co., VT.¹

     Solomon Loomis was born on 4 November 1732 at Tolland, CT. He was the son of Ensign Solomon Loomis and Abigail Strong. Solomon Loomis married Mary Chapman. Solomon Loomis married Mary Johnson on 21 December 1775. Solomon Loomis died on 5 August 1805 at Tolland, CT, at age 72.
