Giles and Sarah were enumerated in the 1850 Goshen, Litchfield Co., CT, federal census. He was a farmer age 76, she was 73. There were no children in the household.

They were both devoted Christians and were held through life in the highest respect and esteem. They bequeathed their property to the Congregational Church of Goshen. ³
