     Annie E. Hayes was born in September 1888. She was the daughter of Marshall Clark Hayes and Ella Merriam. Annie E. Hayes married Tracy Edward Crouse, son of Charles W. Crouse and Mary Elizabeth Barber. Annie E. Hayes died in 1973. Annie and Tracy were enumerated in the 1920 Granby, Hartford Co., CT, federal census. He was a tobacco farmer, age 32, she was 31. Widowed mother Ella, age 66, was also enumerated in the household.
