Frances Isadora Murdock married William Griffith Jennings, son of Lemuel Stebbins Jennings and Martha Steele, on 15 May 1856. Frances Isadora Murdock died on 30 July 1881 at age 43. She was buried at Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. From the Cooley Genealogy, apparently quoting an obituary: She passed away at the early age of forty-two, leaving her five youngest hcildren, as well as her eldest daughter, who needed her inexpressibly, motherless. she was a wonderful mother and home-maker, making the home a living one, and was one of the best and most generous of friends and neighbors. She was a relative whom her people wished to seek continually; she was, infact, followed from the North to the South. with her constant toil, patient encurance, self-immolation, and her good, old-fashioned Medthodist religion, she furnished the highter links of spiritual thought, and manifested the tendersness of God to her children.
