William Darrell Phelps was born on 15 August 1923 at Crawford Co, PA. He was the son of Nathan Dallas Phelps. William Darrell Phelps married Mary Hellen Boozer, daughter of Jenkins Boozer and Marcella Padgett, on 27 March 1948 at Newberry, Newberry Co., SC. William Darrell Phelps died on 8 March 1981 at Camden, SC, at age 57.

     Mary Hellen Boozer was the daughter of Jenkins Boozer and Marcella Padgett. Mary Hellen Boozer married William Darrell Phelps, son of Nathan Dallas Phelps, on 27 March 1948 at Newberry, Newberry Co., SC.

     Dallas is president of the Phelps Family Assn. of America; past president of the SC Genealogical Society, and editor of the Phelps Family News. Dallas Leroy Phelps was born on 13 June 1953 at Camden, SC. He was the son of William Darrell Phelps and Mary Hellen Boozer.

     Lucius Bishop was born in 1791. He was the son of Elijah Bishop II and Tabitha Holcombe. Lucius Bishop married Anne Sheldon in 1822. Lucius Bishop died in 1864.

     Anne Sheldon was born in 1800. She married Lucius Bishop, son of Elijah Bishop II and Tabitha Holcombe, in 1822. Anne Sheldon died in 1877.

     Midas E. Bishop was born in 1832. He was the son of Lucius Bishop and Anne Sheldon. Midas E. Bishop married Caroline V. Curtis in 1856. Midas E. Bishop died in 1910.

     Caroline V. Curtis was born in 1841. She married Midas E. Bishop, son of Lucius Bishop and Anne Sheldon, in 1856. Caroline V. Curtis died in 1904.

     Viola Bishop was born at New Russia, NY. She was the daughter of Midas E. Bishop and Caroline V. Curtis.

Julia Roxanna Smith was born on 1 January 1868 at Burghill, Trumbull Co., OH. She was the daughter of Alexander H. Smith and Hester Ann Holcombe.

     Neva Graves was born at Springboro, PA. She was the daughter of Elmore Adelbert Graves and Ida Della Allen.

     Chauncy S. Holcombe was born on 10 August 1844 at Monroe Township, Ashtabula Co., OH.² He was the son of Oliver Ellsworth Holcombe and Sarah Duntley. Chauncy S. Holcombe married Mary (?) in 1867. Chauncy S. Holcombe died in 1917.

     Mary (?) was born in 1848. She married Chauncy S. Holcombe, son of Oliver Ellsworth Holcombe and Sarah Duntley, in 1867. Mary (?) died in 1896.

     Sarah Holcombe was born at Shelby Co., IA. She was the daughter of Chauncy S. Holcombe and Mary (?).

     Harriet Beecher was born in 1832. She was the daughter of Sylvester Beecher and Betsey Bushnell. Harriet Beecher died in 1914.

     Emma Betsey Dailey was born at Shalersville, OH. She was the daughter of George Dailey and Harriet Beecher.

     Grace Geraldine Ennis was born at Ottumwa, IA. She was the daughter of William Ennis and Julia Griswold Merwin.
