     Thomas Jefferson Slafter was born in 1803. He was the son of Sylvester Slafter and Mary Armstrong Johnson. Thomas Jefferson Slafter died in 1871.

     Sylvester Slafter married Mary Armstrong Johnson, daughter of Calvin Johnson and Sarah Armstrong. Sylvester Slafter was born in 1780. He was the son of John Slafter and Elizabeth Hovey. Sylvester Slafter died in 1850.

     Mary Armstrong Johnson married Sylvester Slafter, son of John Slafter and Elizabeth Hovey. Mary Armstrong Johnson was born in 1783. She was the daughter of Calvin Johnson and Sarah Armstrong. Mary Armstrong Johnson died in 1835.

     John was commissioner of Sequestration, New Hampshire grants in charge at Norwich. He served n the early wars, was with Stark at Bennington and the capitulation of Burgoyne. John Slafter was born in 1739 at Mansfield, CT. He married Elizabeth Hovey in 1767. John Slafter died in 1819 at Norwich, VT.

     Elizabeth Hovey was born in 1744. She married John Slafter in 1767. Elizabeth Hovey died in 1811.

     Calvin was placed on the pension roll of Windsor County, VT, 1833, for nearly two years' actual service as private, Connecticut State troops. Calvin Johnson was born in 1755 at Willington, CT. He was the son of William Johnson and Dorcas Chamberlin. Calvin Johnson died in 1843 at Norwich, VT.

     William commanded a company at Lexington Alarm from Wellington, CT. William Johnson was born in 1725 at Lexington, MA. He died at Wellington, CT.

     Solomon Tracy was born in 1756 at Preston, CT. He died in 1835 at Canandaigua, Ontario Co., NY.

     Mary Ann Knox was born in 1813. She was the daughter of Harry Knox and Charlotte Blair.

     Harry Knox was born in 1786. He was the son of John Knox and Anna Gum.

     John served at the battle of Bunker Hill, and was placed on the New York pension roll, 1832, for service as private. John Knox was born in 1759 at Blanford, MA. He died in 1847 at Canton, NY.

     Eunice Cooley was born on 28 September 1812 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Philetus Cooley and Polly Hinman. Eunice Cooley married William Dewey, son of Aaron Dewey II, on 30 November 1837. Eunice Cooley died on 7 January 1890 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 77.

The Cooley Genealogy states that she began teaching at an early age, continuing until her marriage. William was a farmer in Granby, a Representative in the State Legislature and a member of the Congregational Church. Their children are listed in The Dewey Genealogy.

     William Dewey was born on 8 October 1809 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Aaron Dewey II. William Dewey married Eunice Cooley, daughter of Philetus Cooley and Polly Hinman, on 30 November 1837.

     Laura B. Dewey was born at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of William Dewey and Eunice Cooley.

     Robert McDowell Brown married Lydia Ann Tappen, daughter of Christopher Cornelius Tappen and Gertrude Philips.

     Lydia Ann Tappen was the daughter of Christopher Cornelius Tappen and Gertrude Philips. Lydia Ann Tappen married Robert McDowell Brown.

     Christopher Cornelius Tappen was the son of Cornelius Tappen and Lydia Van Alen. Christopher Cornelius Tappen married Gertrude Philips.

     Gertrude Philips married Christopher Cornelius Tappen, son of Cornelius Tappen and Lydia Van Alen.

     Cornelius Tappen was the son of Christopher Tappen and Anatje Wynkoop.

     Christopher was a member of the 1st and 4th Provincial Congress, and major of the nimute men of Ulster County. At the burning of Kingston, by the British, he was deputy county clerk, an dpreserved the public property in his charge at the sacrifice of his effects. Christopher Tappen was born in 1742 at Kingston, NY. He died in 1826 at Kingston, NY.

     Marguerite Abbott was born at Jamestown, NY. She was the daughter of Charles Stuart Abbott and Pauline Allen.

     Mary H. Dewey was born on 5 November 1846 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of William Dewey and Eunice Cooley. Mary H. Dewey married Clinton Horatio Nelson on 5 November 1873.

     John Burnett was born in 1806. He was the son of James Burnett and (?) Brown. John Burnett died in 1845.

     DAR Record 164077. Oliver Pomeroy White was born on 21 August 1825 at Chazy, Clinton Co., NY. He was the son of Edward Farrington White and Mary White. Oliver Pomeroy White married Mary Rice Holcombe, daughter of Sylvanus Holcombe and Julia B. Joslyn, on 22 October 1851 at Sycamore, DeKalb Co., IL. Oliver Pomeroy White died on 30 June 1865 at Nunica, Ottawa Co., MI, at age 39. He was buried in July 1866 at Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore, DeKalb Co., IL.

Adele Blanche White died on 17 April 1936 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL, at age 76. She was buried on 19 April 1936 at Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore, DeKalb Co., IL.

     Dr. Alonzo Dexter Blagden was born on 24 March 1851 at Genoa, DeKalb Co., IL. He was the son of William Warren Blagden and Lydia Tupper. Dr. Alonzo Dexter Blagden married Adele Blanche White, daughter of Oliver Pomeroy White and Mary Rice Holcombe, on 1 September 1881 at Genoa, DeKalb Co., IL. Dr. Alonzo Dexter Blagden died on 2 April 1926 at Sycamore Township, IL, at age 75. He was buried on 5 April 1926 at Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore, DeKalb Co., IL.

     Curtis Hoppin married Mary Buck. Curtis Hoppin was born in 1785. He was the son of Samuel A. Hoppin and Elizabeth Curtis. Curtis Hoppin died in 1868.

     Edward Farrington White was born on 30 January 1795. He was the son of James White and Polly Farrington. Edward Farrington White married Mary White, daughter of Seth White, on 22 August 1821 at Chazy, Clinton Co., NY. Edward Farrington White died in 1867.

     Eugenia Stiles was born at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Charles J. Stiles and Caroline L. Austin.

     Eleazer Bullard was born in 1737 at Holliston, MA. He died in 1825 at New Marlboro, MA.
