     Mary McLean was the daughter of Rev. Allen McLean and Mary Loomis.

     Capt. Alexander McLean was the son of Rev. Allen McLean and Mary Loomis.

     Jabez McLean was the son of Rev. Allen McLean and Mary Loomis.

     Susanna McLean was the daughter of Rev. Allen McLean and Mary Loomis.

     Ann Loomis was born on 22 May 1724. She was the daughter of Ensign Jabez Loomis and Mary Ferry. Ann Loomis married Joel White, son of Capt. Joel White and Ruth (?). Ann Loomis died on 18 June 1807 at Andover, CT, at age 83.

     The Loomis genealogy notes that Joel may have been the son of Daniel and Ann (Bissell) White, but the Bissell Genealogy (page 5 and page 19) doesn't bear this out. Joel White was born in December 1727. He was the son of Capt. Joel White and Ruth (?). Joel White married Ann Loomis, daughter of Ensign Jabez Loomis and Mary Ferry. Joel White died on 27 December 1809.

     Hannah Loomis was born on 8 November 1729. She was the daughter of Ensign Jabez Loomis and Mary Ferry. Hannah Loomis died before 1768.

     Let me quote directly and completely from Helen Ullmann:

"While E. & E. Loomis say she was the child born at Windsor 27 December 1698 to Thomas and Hannah (Porter) Loomis (WV), Donald L. Jacobus concluded that Peter's wife was more likely the daughter of Benjamin and Ann (Fitch) Loomis. Ann Fitch was the daughter of Capt. Joseph and Mary (Stone) Fitch of Windsor, and this name Stone in Ruth's ancestry would account for the use of the name for a son."

Helen goes on to list deeds and other evidence to support this conclusion. Ruth Loomis was born on 27 December 1698. She was the daughter of Benjamin Loomis and Ann Fitch. Ruth Loomis married Peter Mills, son of Peter Mills and Joanna Porter, on 1 February 1726/27 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Gershom and Mary were cousins, John Porter, Sr., being gr-grandfather to both. In addition, John Porter, Sr., and Jospeh Loomis were in-laws. Sgt. Gershom Loomis was born on 9 April 1701 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Thomas Loomis and Hannah Porter. Sgt. Gershom Loomis married Mary Grant, daughter of Matthew Grant and Hannah Chapman, in June 1736. Sgt. Gershom Loomis died on 27 December 1738 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 37.

     Mary Grant was born on 17 April 1702 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Matthew Grant and Hannah Chapman. Mary Grant married Sgt. Gershom Loomis, son of Thomas Loomis and Hannah Porter, in June 1736. Mary Grant died on 24 January 1780 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 77.

     Elizabeth White was the daughter of Robert White and Bridget Allgar.

     Amasa Loomis was born on 19 February 1737 or 1738. He was the son of Sgt. Gershom Loomis and Mary Grant.

     This unnamed child appears to have been born the same day its father died. Child Loomis was born on 26 December 1738. Child Loomis was the child of Sgt. Gershom Loomis and Mary Grant.

     Henry Edward Hooker was the son of Horace Hooker and Helen Wolcott.

     Louise Hooker was a member at NSDAR; 7271, Washington, DC. She was born at NY. She was the daughter of Henry Edward Hooker and Mary Cady Glen.

     Elizabeth Osborn was born on 19 December 1684 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She married Lt. Isaac Bissell, son of Thomas Bissell and Abigail Moore, on 2 May 1706 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Elizabeth Osborn died on 15 June 1761 at Litchfield, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 76.

     Zebulon Bissell was born on 17 September 1724 at Litchfield, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Lt. Isaac Bissell and Elizabeth Osborn. Zebulon Bissell died in 1777 at Woodbury, CT.

     Benjamin Bissell was born on 15 January 1754 at Litchfield, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Zebulon Bissell and Abigail Smith. Benjamin Bissell married Esther Benton on 21 February 1779. Benjamin Bissell died on 28 February 1825 at Litchfield, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 71.

     Esther Benton was born in 1757. She married Benjamin Bissell, son of Zebulon Bissell and Abigail Smith, on 21 February 1779. Esther Benton died on 27 December 1840 at Litchfield, Litchfield Co., CT.

     Abigail Bissell was the daughter of Benjamin Bissell and Esther Benton. Abigail Bissell married John Griswold.

     John Griswold married Abigail Bissell, daughter of Benjamin Bissell and Esther Benton.

     Cornelia Ann Griswold was the daughter of John Griswold and Abigail Bissell. Cornelia Ann Griswold married Dr. Charles Vaill, son of Benjamin Vaill and Jemima Comstock.

     Dr. Charles Vaill was the son of Benjamin Vaill and Jemima Comstock. Dr. Charles Vaill married Cornelia Ann Griswold, daughter of John Griswold and Abigail Bissell.

     Benjamin Vaill was the son of Joseph Vaill and Jerusha Peck.

     Capt. Edward E. Vaill was the son of Dr. Charles Vaill and Cornelia Ann Griswold.

     Julia Cornelia Vaill was a member at NSDAR; 7478, Washington, DC. She was born at NY. She was the daughter of Capt. Edward E. Vaill and Charlotte F. Sturdivant.

     Sally Newberry was the daughter of John Newberry and Elizabeth Ellsworth. Sally Newberry married Roderick King, son of Alexander King and Abigail Olcott.

     Roderick King was the son of Alexander King and Abigail Olcott. Roderick King married Sally Newberry, daughter of John Newberry and Elizabeth Ellsworth.

     Emily Phelps King was the daughter of Roderick King and Sally Newberry.

     Alice Bell Farmer was a member at NSDAR; 7692, Washington, DC. She was born at CT. She was the daughter of Cornelius Farmer and Emily Phelps King.

     Elliott Stiles was born on 27 September 1857 at Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of Henry Reed Stiles AM MD and Sarah Woodward.

     Charles Butler Stiles MB, CM was born on 3 November 1861 at Woodbridge, NJ. He was the son of Henry Reed Stiles AM MD and Sarah Woodward.

     Martha Osborne was born on 10 April 1687. She was the daughter of Sgt. John Osborn and Abigail Eggleston. Martha Osborne married Ensign John Loomis, son of Thomas Loomis and Sarah White, on 30 October 1706.

     John Loomis was born on 24 September 1709. He was the son of Ensign John Loomis and Martha Osborne. John Loomis died on 10 June 1726 at age 16.

     Martha Loomis was born on 4 October 1712. She was the daughter of Ensign John Loomis and Martha Osborne.
