Irene Isabelle Kougher was born on 6 October 1910 at Fairfield Co., OH. She was the daughter of John Kougher and Anna Belle Bussert.¹ Irene Isabelle Kougher married Gilbert Fullerton Holcombe, son of John Fullerton Holcombe and Mattie Gilbert, on 29 November 1934. Irene Isabelle Kougher died on 16 October 2004 at Mill Run Care Center, Hilliard, Franklin Co., OH, at age 94.¹ She was buried on 19 October 2004 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, Franklin Co., OH.¹

Irene was a registered nurse, graduating from White Cross (now Riverside) Hospital in 1931.

She also was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 109.
