     Mercy Case was born on 13 July 1785. She was the daughter of Amasa Case Jr. and Mercy Hillyer. Mercy Case married Peter Mason, son of Robert Mason and Chloe Case.

     Removed to Vermont. Robert Mason was born on 31 March 1781. He was the son of Robert Mason and Chloe Case.

     Removed to Ohio. Shubael Mason was born on 23 December 1783. He was the son of Robert Mason and Chloe Case. Shubael Mason died on 1 June 1831 at age 47.

     Margaret Mason was born on 3 January 1787. She was the daughter of Robert Mason and Chloe Case. Margaret Mason died on 17 May 1816 at age 29.

     Eleazer Case was the son of Judah Case and Ruth Higley. Eleazer Case married Mary Mason, daughter of Robert Mason and Chloe Case.

     Mary Mason was born on 3 August 1789. She was the daughter of Robert Mason and Chloe Case. Mary Mason married Eleazer Case, son of Judah Case and Ruth Higley. Mary Mason died on 19 November 1857 at age 68.

     Removed to NY. Charles Mason was born on 30 March 1792. He was the son of Robert Mason and Chloe Case.

     Daniel Mason was born on 1 November 1794. He was the son of Robert Mason and Chloe Case. Daniel Mason died on 1 January 1810 at age 15.

     Anne Mason was born on 20 March 1797. She was the daughter of Robert Mason and Chloe Case.

     Luke Mason was born on 19 May 1800. He was the son of Robert Mason and Chloe Case. Luke Mason married Diana Higley, daughter of Seth Filer Higley and Naomi Holcombe, on 12 March 1831. Luke Mason died on 21 March 1840 at age 39.

     Diana Higley was born on 19 March 1815 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Seth Filer Higley and Naomi Holcombe.¹ Diana Higley married Luke Mason, son of Robert Mason and Chloe Case, on 12 March 1831. Diana Higley died on 6 June 1888 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT, at age 73.¹

     Shubael Case was born on 5 January 1759 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. Charles Case and Phoebe Holcombe. Shubael Case died on 1 February 1761 at Scalded at age 2.

     Rosabella Case was born on 19 January 1769 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Charles Case and Phoebe Holcombe. Rosabella Case married Shubael Hoskins, son of Shubael Hoskins and Hannah Grimes, in December 1790 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Rosabella Case died on 19 November 1795 at Canaan, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 26.

     Shubael Hoskins was born on 15 April 1766 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Shubael Hoskins and Hannah Grimes. Shubael Hoskins married Rosabella Case, daughter of Capt. Charles Case and Phoebe Holcombe, in December 1790 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Shubael Seymour Hoskins was born on 16 November 1793. He was the son of Shubael Hoskins and Rosabella Case. Shubael Seymour Hoskins died on 13 April 1861 at age 67.

     Rosabella Hoskins was born in 1794. She was the daughter of Shubael Hoskins and Rosabella Case. Rosabella Hoskins died on 11 August 1840.

     Joanna Hillyer was born on 5 November 1710 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of James Hillyer II and Joanna Hayes.¹ Joanna Hillyer died in 1810.¹

     Capt. Israel Case was born on 14 November 1757 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³ He was the son of Isaac Case and Bathsheba Humphrey. Capt. Israel Case married Joanna Case, daughter of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox, on 12 March 1778 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² Capt. Israel Case died on 27 April 1818 at Worthington, Franklin Co., OH, at age 60. He was buried at St. John's Cemetery, Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.⁴

Israel Case served in Capt. Jonathan Humphrey Jr.'s militia company of Col. Samuel McClellan's Regiment in the 1777-1778 march to Providence early in the Revolutionary War. He was living near the river in the Weatogue area of Simsbury when he sold his farm and his shares in the Weatogue "proprietary school" to move west. He was one of the original proprietors of the Scioto Company and in the partition August 11, 1804 he received four town lots and 193 acres in Worthington, 117 acres in Clinton Township, and 116 acres in Orange Township of Delaware County. He built a home on the farmlot northwest of Worthington and this is where the family was living at his death in 1818. Israel Case was one of the incorporators of St. John's Episcopal church in 1807, and although no tombstones survive Joanna and the unmarried children probably are buried there also. ⁵

Israel's family is detailed in the Simsbury Red Book, but daughters Ester and Ursula are not mentioned there. Ruth Cost Duncan mentions Ursula but not Ester. Both Ester and Ursula are mentioned in Scioto Company Descendants, Virginia Evans McCormick.

     Joanna Case was born on 9 August 1760 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² She was the daughter of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox. Joanna Case married Capt. Israel Case, son of Isaac Case and Bathsheba Humphrey, on 12 March 1778 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² Joanna Case was buried at St. John's Cemetery, Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.³ She died on 10 January 1827 at Franklin Co., OH, at age 66.

     Violet Case was born on 19 October 1762 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox.

     Capt. Ariel Case was born on 23 January 1765 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox. Capt. Ariel Case married Rachel Lattimer, daughter of Jonathan Lattimer and Rachel (?), on 31 January 1786 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Capt. Ariel Case married Celia Humphrey, daughter of Joseph Humphrey and Annis Pettibone, at Simsbury First Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Capt. Ariel Case died on 19 September 1827 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 62. He was buried at Hopmeadow Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Lucy Case was born on 14 February 1767 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox. Lucy Case married Captain Amasa Humphrey, son of Hezekiah Humphrey and Amy Cornish, on 24 August 1783. Lucy Case died on 25 February 1795 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 28.

     Captain Amasa Humphrey was born on 12 January 1758 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Hezekiah Humphrey and Amy Cornish. Captain Amasa Humphrey married Lucy Case, daughter of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox, on 24 August 1783. Captain Amasa Humphrey married Abigail Griswold, daughter of Nathaniel Griswold and Abigail Pinney. Captain Amasa Humphrey died on 19 February 1799 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 41.

     Hezekiah Humphrey was born on 3 January 1718/19 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Captain Samuel Humphrey and Mary Ann Eno. Hezekiah Humphrey married Amy Cornish, daughter of Capt. James Cornish and Amy Butler, on 31 May 1744. Hezekiah Humphrey died on 27 October 1781 at age 62.

     Amy Cornish was born on 2 August 1724 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. James Cornish and Amy Butler. Amy Cornish married Hezekiah Humphrey, son of Captain Samuel Humphrey and Mary Ann Eno, on 31 May 1744.

     Betsy Case was born on 23 December 1775 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox. Betsy Case married Matthew Adams, son of Matthew Adams and Keziah Moses, in March 1794.

     Matthew Adams was born on 8 October 1770 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Matthew Adams and Keziah Moses. Matthew Adams married Betsy Case, daughter of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox, in March 1794.

     Gaylord Adams was born on 15 November 1800 at Winchester, CT.¹ He was the son of Matthew Adams and Betsy Case. Gaylord Adams married Lucy Case, daughter of Job Case Jr. and Mary Holcombe, on 11 July 1824 at Licking Co., OH.¹ Gaylord Adams died on 22 September 1859 at Granville, Licking Co., OH, at age 58.¹ He was buried at Old Colony Cemetery, Granville, Licking Co., OH.¹

     Asenath Case was born on 12 June 1770 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox. Asenath Case married Asa Humphrey, son of Hezekiah Humphrey and Amy Cornish, on 31 January 1786 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Asenath Case died in 1795.

     Asa Humphrey was born on 1 September 1760. He was the son of Hezekiah Humphrey and Amy Cornish. Asa Humphrey married Asenath Case, daughter of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox, on 31 January 1786 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Asa Humphrey died on 1 March 1831 at age 70.

     Ruth Cost Duncan also cites Simsbury Vital Records. Luke Case was born on 1 July 1772 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. Job Case and Joanna Wilcox. Luke Case died on 25 January 1806 at Winsted, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 33.

     Chloe Humphrey was the daughter of Captain Amasa Humphrey and Lucy Case. Chloe Humphrey was baptized on 12 November 1786.
