     Mary Drake was born on 3 September 1761. She was the daughter of Augustine Drake and Mary Griswold.

     Elihu Drake was born on 24 September 1763 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Augustine Drake and Mary Griswold. Elihu Drake married Lucy Allyn in December 1784.² Elihu Drake died on 17 January 1839 at age 75.

At an early period in the Revolutionary struggle, and before the war had as yet fairly commenced, some of the tories (of whom there were a few in Windsor) happened one day to come across Elihu Drake, then a young lad about eight years old, and partly in earnest and partly in a joke, endeavored to compel him to say "God save the King." Failing of success, they tried to intimidate him, by threatening him with a ducking in the Little River. But the boy still stoutly refused. Becoming somewhat enraged at the young rebel, they carried their treat into execution, and thrust him under water; but as they pulled him out spluttering and choking, the only exclamation which he uttered was a fervent "God d--n the King," Again and again was the little martyr thrust under, but each time the same "God d--n the King," was all which they could extort from him, and they were obliged to release him, with many hearty curses for his stubbornness.

This little hero was the son of Adjt. Augustine Drake, of Windsor, and afterwards, at the age of twelve, accompanied his father into the war, in the capacity of waiter. ³

Elihu enlisted for one year in Capt. Abner Prior's Company; Col. Andrew Ward's Regiment, and was in service more than nine months. He fought in the battle of White Plains. About Aug. 22, 1823, he applied for a pension, giving his occupation as a "farmer, unable to labor much. Famly consists of wife by name of Lucy, three children, one by name of Wareham, aged 14; one Laura, aged 12, one by name of Edward, aged 10, and by reason of late misfortune am unable to to contribute anything of importance towards their support, and am now placed in such indigent curcumstances as to be unable to get support for myself, my wife and children." ⁴

     Martha Drake was born on 20 September 1765 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Augustine Drake and Mary Griswold. Martha Drake married Jedediah Loomis, son of Jedediah Loomis and Sybil Case, on 18 May 1783.¹ Martha Drake died on 8 May 1832 at age 66.¹

     Job Drake was born on 23 August 1767. He was the son of Augustine Drake and Mary Griswold.

     Rhoda Drake was born. She was the daughter of Augustine Drake and Mary Griswold.

     Lucy Drake was born on 21 September 1776. He was the son of Augustine Drake and Mary Griswold.

     Abijah Enno was born on 4 November 1747 at Union, CT. He was the son of Benjamin Enno and Jerusha Griswold. Abijah Enno married Hannah Griswold, daughter of Capt. Moses Griswold and Mary Nichols, in 1770. Abijah Enno left a will on 30 July 1811. He died on 21 March 1813 at age 65. His estate was probated at Fonda, Montgomery Co., NY.

     Benjamin Enno married Jerusha Griswold, daughter of Matthew Griswold and Mary Phelps, in January 1740/41.

     Jerusha Griswold was born on 19 April 1714 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Matthew Griswold and Mary Phelps. Jerusha Griswold married Benjamin Enno in January 1740/41.

     Abijah Enno was born in 1772. He was the son of Abijah Enno and Hannah Griswold. Abijah Enno died on 26 August 1793.

     Flavel Enno was born. He was the son of Abijah Enno and Hannah Griswold.

     Aaron Enno was born. He was the son of Abijah Enno and Hannah Griswold.

     Lucy Enno was born. She was the daughter of Abijah Enno and Hannah Griswold.

     Elihu Enno was born in 1785. He was the son of Abijah Enno and Hannah Griswold.

     Sgt. Benedictus Alvord was born. He was the son of Thomas Alvord and Joan Hawkins. Sgt. Benedictus Alvord married Jane Newton on 26 November 1640. Sgt. Benedictus Alvord died on 23 April 1683.

     Jane Newton married Sgt. Benedictus Alvord, son of Thomas Alvord and Joan Hawkins, on 26 November 1640.

     Jeremiah Alvord was born on 8 May 1692. He was the son of Jeremy Alvord and Jane Hoskins.

     Jonathan Alvord was born on 16 September 1720.² He was the son of Jeremiah Alvord and Sarah Eno. Jonathan Alvord married Charity Thrall on 17 December 1744 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.²

     Charity Thrall married Jonathan Alvord, son of Jeremiah Alvord and Sarah Eno, on 17 December 1744 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Charity Thrall died on 9 September 1776 at Epidemic dysentery.

Charity is possibly the daughter of William Thrall who cited daughter Charity in his will dated 9 June 1736.

     William Alvord was born on 3 May 1774.² He was the son of Joseph Alvord and Lucy Griswold.¹ William Alvord married Clarissa Griswold, daughter of Isaac Griswold and Christina Holcombe, on 8 February 1802.¹ William Alvord married Salina Griswold, daughter of Isaac Griswold and Christina Holcombe, on 3 April 1810.^1,2 William Alvord married Martha Barber, daughter of Geideon Barber, on 4 July 1837.³ William Alvord died on 26 December 1856 at age 82.²

     Joseph Alvord was born. He was the son of Joseph Alvord and Lucy Griswold.¹ Joseph Alvord died; unmarried.

     Polly Alvord was born. She was the daughter of Joseph Alvord and Lucy Griswold.¹

The Griswold Genealogy by the Frenchs indicated that Polly married Ashbel Case. The Case Genealogy indicates that Ashbel married Mary Alvord, daughter of Joseph and Mercy (Griswold) Alvord. Probably the same. The Case Genealogy indicates six children.

     Roswell Alvord was born. He was the son of Joseph Alvord and Lucy Griswold.¹ Roswell Alvord died; unmarried.

     Moses Alvord was born. He was the son of Joseph Alvord and Lucy Griswold.¹ Moses Alvord married Rhoda Smith.¹

     Abby Mather Alvord was born. She was the daughter of Joseph Alvord and Lucy Griswold.¹ Abby Mather Alvord married Levi Pinney.¹

     Sophia Alvord was born. She was the daughter of Joseph Alvord and Lucy Griswold.¹ Sophia Alvord married Anthony DeMott.¹

     Eleanor Alvord was born. She was the daughter of Joseph Alvord and Lucy Griswold.¹ Eleanor Alvord married Amos Hathaway.¹

     Azariah Holcombe was born in 1799. He was the son of Azariah Holcombe and Christina Shepard.

Azariah is recorded in the 1850 Census of Sugar Grove Twp, Warren Co., Pa. as a farmer.

     Elisha Cornish Jr. was born on 7 December 1748.¹ He was the son of Elisha Cornish and Hepzibah Humphrey. Elisha Cornish Jr. married Sarah Case, daughter of Capt. John Case and Sarah Barber, on 12 April 1764. Elisha Cornish Jr. died on 22 March 1826 at age 77.

     Elisha Cornish was born say 1722. He married Hepzibah Humphrey, daughter of Charles Humphrey and Hepzibah Pettibone, on 25 September 1740. Elisha Cornish died on 27 April 1794.

     Hepzibah Humphrey was born on 26 October 1724. She was the daughter of Charles Humphrey and Hepzibah Pettibone. Hepzibah Humphrey married Elisha Cornish on 25 September 1740. Hepzibah Humphrey died on 25 February 1755 at age 30.

     Sarah Cornish was born on 24 December 1771. She was the daughter of Elisha Cornish Jr. and Sarah Case. Sarah Cornish died on 16 January 1772 at age 0.

     Sarah Cornish was born on 20 April 1773. She was the daughter of Elisha Cornish Jr. and Sarah Case. Sarah Cornish married Jesse Case Jr., son of Jesse Case and Sarah Humphrey, on 3 October 1791 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Sarah Cornish died on 6 June 1815 at age 42.

     Jesse Case Jr. was born on 20 July 1767 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Jesse Case and Sarah Humphrey.² Jesse Case Jr. married Sarah Cornish, daughter of Elisha Cornish Jr. and Sarah Case, on 3 October 1791 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Jesse Case Jr. died on 11 February 1842 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 74.

     Horatio Gates Case was born on 21 September 1777 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Jedediah Case and Mercy Hart. Horatio Gates Case married Hepzibah Cornish, daughter of Elisha Cornish Jr. and Sarah Case, on 10 June 1799.

     Hepzibah Cornish was born on 11 October 1775 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Elisha Cornish Jr. and Sarah Case. Hepzibah Cornish married Horatio Gates Case, son of Jedediah Case and Mercy Hart, on 10 June 1799. Hepzibah Cornish died on 13 July 1833 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 57. She was buried at Hopmeadow Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Asa Cornish was born. He was the son of Elisha Cornish Jr. and Sarah Case. Asa Cornish was baptized. He died on 14 August 1839.

     Daniel Hoskins was born on 23 May 1727 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Daniel Hoskins and Elizabeth Phelps. Daniel Hoskins married Abigail Case, daughter of Jacob Case and Abigail Barber. Daniel Hoskins died on 26 May 1779 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 52.

     Daniel Hoskins was born in 1696 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of John Hoskins and Hannah (?). Daniel Hoskins married Elizabeth Phelps, daughter of Joseph Phelps and Mary Case, on 28 July 1725.¹

     Elizabeth Phelps was born on 7 April 1709 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Phelps and Mary Case. Elizabeth Phelps married Daniel Hoskins, son of John Hoskins and Hannah (?), on 28 July 1725.¹

     Asa Hoskins was born on 11 June 1762 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Daniel Hoskins and Abigail Case. Asa Hoskins married Abigail Case, daughter of Capt. John Case and Sarah Barber, on 6 November 1784. Asa Hoskins died on 20 March 1847 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 84.

     Elisha Cornish was born in 1782. He was the son of Elisha Cornish Jr. and Sarah Case. Elisha Cornish died on 27 August 1839.
