     Carrie Tappan Brown was born at "Missing Place" no. 6425. She was the daughter of Robert Cornelius Brown and Nellie Julia Merrill. Carrie Tappan Brown was a member in 1906 at DAR; 54176, Washington, DC.

     Bethesda Holcombe was born in 1778. She was the daughter of Martin Holcombe and Bethesda (?). Bethesda Holcombe married Jonathan Holliday in 1800. Bethesda Holcombe died in 1859.

     Jonathan Holliday was born in 1775. He married Bethesda Holcombe, daughter of Martin Holcombe and Bethesda (?), in 1800. Jonathan Holliday died in 1859.

     Lorton Holliday was the son of Jonathan Holliday and Bethesda Holcombe. Lorton Holliday married Huldah Matilda Gates, daughter of Gross Gates and Abigail Ames.

     Huldah Matilda Gates was the daughter of Gross Gates and Abigail Ames. Huldah Matilda Gates married Lorton Holliday, son of Jonathan Holliday and Bethesda Holcombe.

     Huldah Matilda Holliday was the daughter of Lorton Holliday and Huldah Matilda Gates. Huldah Matilda Holliday married Hosea Moffatt Hood, son of Thomas Hood and Dorothy Hill.

     Hosea Moffatt Hood was the son of Thomas Hood and Dorothy Hill. Hosea Moffatt Hood married Huldah Matilda Holliday, daughter of Lorton Holliday and Huldah Matilda Gates.

     Dorothy Bell Hood was born at Huron Co., OH. She was the daughter of Hosea Moffatt Hood and Huldah Matilda Holliday. Dorothy Bell Hood was a member in 1903 at DAR; 45389, Washington, DC.

     Annis Holcombe was born. She was the daughter of Seth Holcombe and Polly Gillett. Annis Holcombe married Ira Tracy, son of Solomon Tracy and Mary Wells, at Belmont, NY.

Annis assembled a photo album of her relatives in Connecticut during a six week visit in 1865. The album, fortunately, came into the possession of Dee Doiron who graciously donated it to the Salmon Brook Historical Society in 2002.

     Ira Tracy was born in 1795. He was the son of Solomon Tracy and Mary Wells. Ira Tracy married Annis Holcombe, daughter of Seth Holcombe and Polly Gillett, at Belmont, NY. Ira Tracy died in 1881.

     Lucy Chamberlin Tracy married Carlos Lewis Slafter, son of Thomas Jefferson Slafter and Rebecca Seaver. Lucy Chamberlin Tracy was born in 1832. She was the daughter of Ira Tracy and Annis Holcombe.

     Carlos Lewis Slafter married Lucy Chamberlin Tracy, daughter of Ira Tracy and Annis Holcombe. Carlos Lewis Slafter was born in 1832. He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Slafter and Rebecca Seaver.

     Harriette Annis Slafter was born at Belmont, NY. She was the daughter of Carlos Lewis Slafter and Lucy Chamberlin Tracy. Harriette Annis Slafter was a member in 1905 at DAR; 52820, Washington, DC.

     Betty Cox was born on 11 June 1924. She was the daughter of Henry Burrows Cox and Juliet Inness.

     Clarice Cox was born on 17 June 1925. She was the daughter of Henry Burrows Cox and Juliet Inness.

     Edwina Reed Munro was born on 11 October 1903. She was the daughter of Edwin Knapp Munro and Florence Reed. Edwina Reed Munro married George Inness Ellsworth, son of Bradford Ellsworth and Juliet Inness, on 12 June 1929.

     Dr. Newman Arnold Hall was born on 14 June 1913 at Uniontown, PA. He was the son of Rev. Homer Maxwell Hall and Susan Newman. Dr. Newman Arnold Hall was graduated in 1934 at Marietta College. He was graduated in 1938 at PhD in Mathematics; California Institute of Technolo. He married Eileen Creevey, daughter of George Mason Creevey and Lucy Morris Ellsworth, on 14 August 1938 at Esperanza, "Missing Place" no. 6425.

     Rev. Homer Maxwell Hall was the son of Homer John Hall and Frances Emeline Hammon. Rev. Homer Maxwell Hall married Susan Newman, daughter of James William Newman and Susan Arnold.

     Susan Newman was the daughter of James William Newman and Susan Arnold. Susan Newman married Rev. Homer Maxwell Hall, son of Homer John Hall and Frances Emeline Hammon.

     Ellen Rose Higgins was born on 15 February 1881. She was the daughter of Samuel Gaty Higgins and Blanche Rose. Ellen Rose Higgins and Francis Leroy Dickey were divorced.

     Alfred Higgins was born on 20 June 1884 at Saginaw, MI. He was the son of Samuel Gaty Higgins and Blanche Rose. Alfred Higgins married Mabel Watson, daughter of Edward M. Watson and Imogene (?). Alfred Higgins lived at Groton, New London Co., CT. He died on 7 April 1961 at Westerley, RI, at age 76.

     Donna Siemiatkoski also cites the Detroit City Directories. May Rose Higgins was born on 31 January 1894. She was the daughter of Samuel Gaty Higgins and Blanche Rose. May Rose Higgins married Leslie Allington.

     Rufus Clarke Stanley was born on 14 October 1859. He was the son of Hannibal Tone Stanley and Cornelia Caroline Miner. Rufus Clarke Stanley married Charlotte Ellsworth Rose, daughter of Julius Kirke Rose and Ellen Augusta Ellsworth, on 21 June 1892. Rufus Clarke Stanley died on 8 July 1926 at age 66.

     Alfred served in teh French Army in World War I. Alfred Holt Stanley was born on 23 December 1896. He was the son of Rufus Clarke Stanley and Charlotte Ellsworth Rose.

     Howard Greenley was born on 14 May 1874. He married Elizabeth Inness, daughter of George Inness Jr. and Julia Goodrich Roswell Smith, on 14 April 1903. Howard Greenley lived in 1940 at Santa Barbara, CA.

     Howard Greenley Jr. was born on 1 September 1908. He was the son of Howard Greenley and Elizabeth Inness.

     Ellsworth Greenley was born on 13 December 1910. He was the son of Howard Greenley and Elizabeth Inness. Ellsworth Greenley died on 6 August 1927 at age 16.

     Bettina Greenley was born on 10 July 1918. She was the daughter of Howard Greenley and Elizabeth Inness. Bettina Greenley married Richard James Carey on 6 September 1939. Bettina Greenley lived in 1940 at New York City, NY.

     Richard James Carey married Bettina Greenley, daughter of Howard Greenley and Elizabeth Inness, on 6 September 1939.

     Robert Stockdale Telfer was born on 16 August 1892 at Evansville, IN. He was the son of Rev. William Telfer and Lilly Adams. Robert Stockdale Telfer was graduated in 1913 at Wesleyan University, Middletown, Middlesex Co., CT. He was graduated in 1916 at MA; Indiana University. He married Sophie Wolcott Stuart, daughter of William Vaughn Stuart and Geneve Ellsworth Reynolds, on 8 February 1930. Robert Stockdale Telfer died in May 1982 at Bloomington, Monroe Co., IN, at age 89.¹

     

Sophie was active in the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America. They had no children. Sophie Wolcott Telfer was born on 7 April 1931 at New York City, NY. She was the daughter of Robert Stockdale Telfer and Sophie Wolcott Stuart. Sophie Wolcott Telfer died on 14 November 1987 at Los Altos, CA, at age 56.²

     Jerold Marshall Adle died in 1963.

     Joseph Reynolds Adle lived at Milwaukee, WI. He was born on 8 October 1938. He was the son of Jerold Marshall Adle and Dorothy Gertrude Reynolds.
