Elijah served as a corporal in Capt. Jonathan Pettibone's Co. of Militia, Campaign of 1757 to Fort Edwards in the French & Indian War. Elijah Case was born in 1726 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. Jonathan Case and Mary Beaman. Elijah Case married Hannah Wilson, daughter of Azariah Wilson and Mary Saxton, in 1750.

Micah Case was the son of Capt. Jonathan Case and Mary Beaman. Micah Case married Rhoda Willcockson, daughter of Deacon William Willcockson and Thankful Adams, on 7 November 1751 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.2 Micah Case died on 16 October 1774.2 Ruth Cost Duncan lists Micah's death in 1774 but says he was in the Continental Army in 1775. She probably assigned Micah Jr.' service to his father.

Ruth Cost Duncan cites the Barkhamsted Church Record. Hannah Wilson was born on 31 July 1731 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Azariah Wilson and Mary Saxton. Hannah Wilson married Elijah Case, son of Capt. Jonathan Case and Mary Beaman, in 1750. Hannah Wilson died on 26 August 1786 at age 55.

Hannah Case was born on 14 March 1752 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Elijah Case and Hannah Wilson. Hannah Case married Lt. Abner Case, son of Noah Case and Miriam Holcombe, on 2 September 1773 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. Hannah Case died on 5 November 1842 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 90. She was buried at Granby Street Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT.2
