Mercy Case was born on 12 January 1699/0 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² She was the daughter of Samuel Case and Mary Westover. Mercy Case married Thomas Barber, son of Thomas Barber and Abigail Buell, on 16 January 1725 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Mercy Case died in 1793 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Elizabeth Owen married Samuel Case, son of John Case and Sarah Spencer, on 8 November 1721 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Titus Barber was born on 14 December 1774 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case. Titus Barber married Jemima Holcombe, daughter of Benajah Holcombe II and Lydia Forward. Titus Barber died on 3 May 1835 at age 60.

     Martha Barber was born on 22 January 1754 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case. Martha Barber died on 19 March 1758 at age 4.

     Thomas Barber was born on 26 January 1756 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case. Thomas Barber married Ruth Pettibone, daughter of Abel Pettibone and Elizabeth Case, on 29 May 1785.

     Abijah Pettibone married an unknown person.

     Daughter Barber was born on 10 January 1758. She was the daughter of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case. Daughter Barber died young.

     Benjamin Palmer was born on 26 March 1759 at Ashford, Windham Co., CT. He was the son of Benjamin Palmer and Esther Hayward. Benjamin Palmer married Martha Barber, daughter of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case, in June 1784.

     Lucy Barber was born on 10 June 1762 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case. Lucy Barber married Joseph Pettibone, son of Abel Pettibone and Elizabeth Case. Lucy Barber died on 24 August 1807 at age 45.

     Robert W. Williams was born circa 1842 at OH.¹ He was the son of (?) Williams and Rua (?).¹

     Asa Barber was born on 5 June 1764 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case. Asa Barber died on 11 October 1798 at Baltimore, Baltimore Co., MD, at age 34. He was buried at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Charles Barber was born on 17 July 1767 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case. Charles Barber married Dolly Newbury, daughter of Thomas Newbury and Dorothy Mather, on 26 July 1801 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.

     Zilpah Barber married Levi Latimer. Zilpah Barber was born in June 1772 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case. Zilpah Barber died on 2 August 1826 at age 54.

     Levi Latimer married Zilpah Barber, daughter of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case. Levi Latimer died on 13 July 1849.

     Rhoda Barber was born on 27 November 1778 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Thomas Barber III and Martha Case. Rhoda Barber died on 24 June 1779.

     Zeruah Rosina Alderman was born circa 1848 at OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Jarvis Alderman and Rua (?).¹

     Jesse Pinney Holcombe was born on 18 June 1779 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Capt. Jesse Holcombe and Lovisa Pinney. Jesse Pinney Holcombe married Hannah Pinney, daughter of Capt. Levi Pinney and Hannah Eno, circa 1803. Jesse Pinney Holcombe died before 1860.²

McPherson gives a birth date of 1799, but that must be a typo because she also shows him on the school board in 1806. More likely birth date is 1779.

Jesse moved his family to Mesopotamia Township, Trumbull County, Ohio in the 1820s and farmed through 1840. The family is missing from the 1850 state census but some members reappear in 1860. Jesse died beforehand. Hannah was living with son Bradford's family in 1860, age stated as 77.

     Abial Holcombe was born on 18 December 1781 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. Jesse Holcombe and Lovisa Pinney.

     Louisa L. Holcombe was born on 2 May 1784 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Jesse Holcombe and Lovisa Pinney.

     Frederick D. Holcombe was born on 23 October 1786 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. Jesse Holcombe and Lovisa Pinney. Frederick D. Holcombe died on 26 May 1872 at Watertown, CT, at age 85.

Frederick was graduated at Williams in 1809; took a course in theology, 1809-12; received deacon's orders in 1812, and was ordained a priest in 1813. He was rector of Christ church, Harwinton, Conn., 1812-14, and of Christ church, Watertown, Conn., 1814-72. He was a founder of Trinity college, Hartford, and of the Episcopal seminary, Cheshire, Conn., curator of Trinity, 1832-72, and received from that institution the degree of S.T.D. in 1838.

     Narcissus L. Holcombe was born on 23 March 1797 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Jesse Holcombe and Lovisa Pinney.

     Melissa Holcombe was born on 10 May 1802 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Jesse Holcombe and Lovisa Pinney.

     Emily Holcombe was born on 11 May 1804 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Jesse Holcombe and Lovisa Pinney.

Probably the Emily Holcombe that married Harris Porter Baker in 1824 in Litchfield CT, or Mesopotamia, OH.

     Hannah Pinney was the daughter of Capt. Levi Pinney and Hannah Eno. Hannah Pinney married Jesse Pinney Holcombe, son of Capt. Jesse Holcombe and Lovisa Pinney, circa 1803.

     Ruth Cost Duncan cites the Simsbury Vital Records. Reuben Case was born on 8 May 1748 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Reuben Case and Ruth Goodrich. Reuben Case was baptized on 15 May 1748 at Wintonbury Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He married Lydia Pinney, daughter of Jonathan Pinney and Lydia Case.

     Ruth Cost Duncan cites Simsbury Vital Records. Reuben Case was born circa 1717 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Joshua Case and Anne (?). Reuben Case married Ruth Goodrich, daughter of Jacob Goodrich and Benedicta Goodwin, on 9 July 1747 at Wintonbury Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Reuben Case lived in 1790 at Caughnawaga, Montgomery Co., NY. He died at NY.

     Ruth Cost Duncan gives Ruth's date of birth as 22 May 1718. The Goodwin genealogy gives it as 22 May 1727. Given the date of marriage of Benedicta and Jacob, either is possible. Ruth Goodrich was born on 22 May 1727.² She was the daughter of Jacob Goodrich and Benedicta Goodwin. Ruth Goodrich married Reuben Case, son of Joshua Case and Anne (?), on 9 July 1747 at Wintonbury Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Ruth Goodrich died on 23 January 1782 at age 54.

     Benedicta Goodwin was baptized on 25 February 1693/94.¹ She was the daughter of Nathaniel Goodwin and Mehetable Porter.

     Rosabella Adams married Origen Pinney, son of Jonathan Pinney and Lydia Case, on 2 May 1799.

     Asenath Adams married Joseph Pinney, son of Jonathan Pinney and Lydia Case.

     David Adams married Mindwell Case, daughter of Sgt. Daniel Case and Penelope Buttolph. David Adams was born on 28 August 1718. He was the son of Thomas Adams and Martha Buttolph. David Adams died on 10 January 1801 at age 82.

     Thomas Adams was the son of Sgt. Daniel Adams and Mary Phelps. Thomas later remaried and had other issue beginning in 1728. Thomas Adams married Martha Buttolph, daughter of Sgt. David Buttolph and Mary Buck, on 25 December 1712 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Martha Buttolph was born on 2 April 1694 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Sgt. David Buttolph and Mary Buck. Martha Buttolph married Thomas Adams, son of Sgt. Daniel Adams and Mary Phelps, on 25 December 1712 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Martha Buttolph died on 25 January 1725 or 1726.

     Joseph Lewis married Elizabeth Case, daughter of John Case and Sarah Spencer, on 30 April 1674. Joseph Lewis died in 1680.
