     Capt. Jeremiah Fitch was born in September 1670 at Norwich, New London Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Rev. James Fitch and Priscilla Mason.^2,3 Capt. Jeremiah Fitch married Ruth Gilford on 4 June 1698.¹ Capt. Jeremiah Fitch died on 22 May 1736 at Coventry, Tolland Co., CT, at age 65.¹

     Peter Schaaf married Elizabeth Miller.¹

     Twins Osborn was born on 3 February 1692/93. He was the son of Sgt. John Osborn and Martha Ellsworth.

     Damaris Tuller was born on 1 January 1735/36.¹ She was the daughter of James Tuller and Jemima Segar.¹ Damaris Tuller married Sanders Moore, son of Sanders Moore and Mabel Kelsey.

     David Moore was born circa 1845 at OH.¹ He was the son of Joseph Moore and Nancy Hathaway.¹

     Mary Holcombe was born in 1851.¹ She was the daughter of Clement Holcombe and Hannah Malinda ives.¹

     Harvey Holcombe was born on 4 September 1817.¹ He was the son of Amasa Holcombe and Almira Rice.^1,2 Harvey Holcombe married Electa E. (?).¹

     Thomas J. Murphy married Mary Ellen (?).¹

     Dr. Thomas Norval Hepburn was born on 18 December 1879. He was the son of Dr. Sewell Snowden Hepburn and Selina Lloyd Powell. Dr. Thomas Norval Hepburn married Katharine Martha Houghton, daughter of Alfred Augustus Houghton and Caroline Garlinghouse, on 6 June 1904.¹ Dr. Thomas Norval Hepburn died in 1962 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.

Thomas and Katharine were enumerated in the 1930 West Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, federal census, district 222, on Bloomfield Ave.. He was 50, she was 52. Children in the household were Richard H. 18, Robert H. 16, Marion 11, and Margaret H. 9.

At one time Dr. Hepburn and family availed themselves of the services of a well known cook, maid, party caterer and caretaker, Emma Faust Tillman, who lived to the age of 114 and at the time of her death in January 2007, was considered the oldest person alive.

     Lt. Thomas Winchell was born on 2 April 1700 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Stephen Winchell and Abigail Phelps. Lt. Thomas Winchell married Jemima Owen, daughter of Obadiah Owen and Christian Winchell, on 11 May 1725 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 Lt. Thomas Winchell died after April 1770.

     Gregory Kim Stratton was born on 23 July 1953 at Wichita, Sedgwick Co., KS.¹ He was the son of Ralph Merritt Stratton and Evelyn Gillispie.¹ Gregory Kim Stratton died on 7 June 1963 at San Mateo, CA, at age 9.¹ He was buried on 11 June 1963 at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, San Mateo Co., CA.¹

     John Bradley married Elizabeth (?).¹

     Elizabeth (?) married John Bradley.¹

     George Corliss married Johanna Davis.¹

     John Eaton married Phebe (?).¹ John Eaton died on 29 October 1668.

     Mary (?) married John Dow, son of Thomas Dow and Susannah (?).¹ Mary (?) died in September 1724.¹

     Augusta Holcombe was born circa 1844.¹ She was the daughter of Allen Holcombe and Ameila (?).¹

     Lois (?) married Hezekiah Royce.¹

     Jeremiah T. Gillett was born in 1819 at Italy, Yates Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Jabez Gillett Jr. and Mary Beebe.¹ Jeremiah T. Gillett married Sophia C. Fish circa 1846.¹ Jeremiah T. Gillett died in 1903 at Italy, Yates Co., NY.¹

Jeremiah and Sophia were enumerated in the 1850 Italy, Yates Co., NY, federal census. He was a farmer, age 30, she was 24. There were no children in the household.


Jeremiah and Sophia were enumerated in the 1870 Italy, Yates Co., NY, federal census. He was a farmer, age 50, she was 42. Children in the household were Isabella 17, Elbert 15, Elizabeth 9, and Alida R. 3.


Jeremiah and Sophia were enumerated in the 1880 Italy, Yates Co., NY, federal census, district 216. He was a farmer, age 60, she was 52. Children in the household were Libbie 19, and Alida, 12, both born in NY.

     Coronado F. Pettibone was born in 1847 at Ashfield, Franklin Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Freeman Pettibone and Clarissa Miller.¹

      Altie D. Holcombe was also known as Atlas D. Holcombe.¹ She was born on 1 July 1878 at Geneva, Ashtabula Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Norton B. Holcombe and Amanda C. Coats.¹

      Clarence Lincoln Coutts was also known as (?) Couch. He married Jannette Holcombe, daughter of David Holcombe and Annie Appleby.

     Laverna G. (?) was born circa 1820 at NY.¹ She married William R. Holcombe, son of NY Holcombe.¹

     Ralph Morgan Sanders was born in August 1876 at NH.¹ He was the son of Henry C. Sanders and E. Frances Morgan.² Ralph Morgan Sanders married Myra Dunsmore, daughter of George H. Dunsmore, on 11 October 1899.¹

A photo album was presented to Ralph in 1895 by his family. It was sold on eBay and is now at the New Hampshire Historical Society.


Ralph graduated from Stevens High School in Claremont in 1895. At the time, there were three courses of study: Classical, Scientific, and English. Mr. Sanders was a graduate of the Scientific course of study. Myra was of the class of 1897.


Ralph M. and Myra M. Sanders were enumerated in the 1900 Claremont, Sullivan Co., NH, federal census, ED 245, page 27B. He was a bank clerk, age 23; she was 21. Myra's widowed father, George H. Dunsmore, a machinist, age 58, was living with them.

George H. Dunsmore was enumerated in the 1910 Claremont, Sullivan Co., NH federal census, ED 310, page 18A. He was a machinist, age 68. Also enumerated in the household was daughter Myra D. Sanders, married, age 32, another female, age 50, widowed, and his mother Sarah Dunsmore, widowed, age 80. Ralph and Erald were not enumerated in this household. However, the census, did indicate that Myra had one living child.

George H. Dunsmore was enumerated in the 1920 Claremont, Sullivan Co., NH, federal census, ED 167. He was a foreman in a machine shop, age 78. Also enumerated in the household was divorced daughter Myra L. Sanders, a music teacher, age 42.


Ralph M. Sanders was enumerated in the 1930 Claremont, Sullivan Co., NH, federal census in the household of his father, Henry C. Sanders Sr. Ralph was divorced, age 53 and unemployed.

     Judge (?) Underwood married Lucinda Shumate.

     VT Holcombe was the son of US Holcombe.
