     Talcott Alderman was born on 5 January 1787 at East Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Gad Alderman and Happy Buckley.¹ Talcott Alderman married Sarah Stephens.¹ Talcott Alderman died on 7 November 1862 at age 75.¹

     Sarah Stephens was born on 4 October 1789.³ She married Talcott Alderman, son of Gad Alderman and Happy Buckley.¹ Sarah Stephens died on 28 August 1862 at age 72.³

     Theodotia Miller was born in 1789.² She married Pliney Alderman, son of Gad Alderman and Happy Buckley.¹ Theodotia Miller died in 1850.²

     Delight Alderman was born on 12 November 1801 at East Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Gad Alderman and Happy Buckley.¹ Delight Alderman married Harry Taylor.¹ Delight Alderman died on 17 April 1890 at age 88.¹

     John B. Taylor was born in 1826.¹ He was the son of Harry Taylor and Delight Alderman.¹ John B. Taylor died in 1893.¹

     Fidelia S. Alderman was born on 10 December 1813.¹ She was the daughter of Talcott Alderman and Sarah Stephens.¹ Fidelia S. Alderman died in 1911.¹

Elijah and Fidelia were enumerated in the 1850 West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA, federal census. He was a farmer, age 44, she was 36. Children in the household were Talcott A., age 13, and Sybil 11.

Fidelia was enumerated in the 1860 West Springfield, Hampden Co. MA, federal census. Eli was not enumerated. Talcott and Sybil were in the household as were her parents, Talcott and Sarah.

     Esther Deborah Alderman was born on 31 August 1823 at West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Talcott Alderman and Sarah Stephens.¹ Esther Deborah Alderman married H. Almon Swan, son of Peris Swan and Jerusha Berry.¹

Almond and Esther were enumerated in the 1850 Oakfield, Fon Du Lac Co., WI federal census (page 295, dwelling 787, family 806). He was a farmer age 31, she was 27. Children in the household were Bryon age 7, Fidelia 3, and Edward, age illegible.

Esther was enumerated in the 1860 Oakfield, Fon Du Lac Co., WI federal cnesus (page 780, dwelling 1242, family 1253). Almond was not enumerated nearby. Children in the household were Byron 17, Fidelia 13, Edward 11, Alden 5, and George 1.

Almond and Esther were enumerated in the 1870 Oakfield, Fon Du Lac Co., WI federal census (dwelling 23, family 24). Almond was a farmer age 52, Esther was 48. Children in the household were Alden D., 17, George 9, Eugene 7, and Harlow 4.

     H. Almon Swan was born on 24 December 1819.³ He was the son of Peris Swan and Jerusha Berry.² H. Almon Swan married Esther Deborah Alderman, daughter of Talcott Alderman and Sarah Stephens.¹ H. Almon Swan died on 17 May 1883 at age 63.³

     Bradley J. Alderman was born on 26 August 1822 at West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.^2,3 He was the son of Bradley Alderman and Sarah Phelps.¹ Bradley J. Alderman married Elizabeth Marinda Dimmick on 11 June 1846.^1,2 Bradley J. Alderman died on 30 July 1900 at age 77.²

Bradley was a farmer and dairyman at Castle Creek, NY.

Bradley and Elizabeth were enumerated in the 1860 Chenango, Broome Co., NY Census, page 568. Bradley was a farmer age 37, she was 36. The only child in the household was Mary E. age 9. Fanny Dimmick, age 66 was also in the houehold.

     Elizabeth Marinda Dimmick was born circa 1823. She married Bradley J. Alderman, son of Bradley Alderman and Sarah Phelps, on 11 June 1846.^1,2

     Mary E. Alderman was born in 1851.² She was the daughter of Bradley J. Alderman and Elizabeth Marinda Dimmick.¹ Mary E. Alderman died in 1921.²

     David Albert Charles Armstrong-Jones Viscount Linley was born on 3 November 1961. He was the son of Antony Armstrong-Jones Earl of Snowdon and Princess Margaret Rose Windsor. David Albert Charles Armstrong-Jones Viscount Linley married Hon. Serena Alleyne Stanhope, daughter of Charles Henry Leicester Stanhope Viscount Petersham and Virginia Alleyne Freeman-Jackson, on 8 October 1993.

     Hon. Serena Alleyne Stanhope was born in 1970. She was the daughter of Charles Henry Leicester Stanhope Viscount Petersham and Virginia Alleyne Freeman-Jackson. Hon. Serena Alleyne Stanhope married David Albert Charles Armstrong-Jones Viscount Linley, son of Antony Armstrong-Jones Earl of Snowdon and Princess Margaret Rose Windsor, on 8 October 1993.

      Gideon Chester Holcombe was also known as Gideon H. Holcombe.² He was born on 16 March 1815 or 16 March 1818 at CT or OH.¹ He was the son of James Alderman Holcombe and Dorcas Trumbull.¹ Gideon Chester Holcombe died on 12 December 1889 at New Bridge, Baker Co., OR.¹

Perhaps the Gideon C. Holcombe, a farmer born in MA age 36 that was enumerated with his family in the 1850, Ionia, Ionia Co., MI federal census page 175A. Also enumerated were wife Nancy 33 born in NY, Amelia Ware 9 (step-daughter?) born in MI, James N. Holcomb 5, Polly 2, and Sarah 4 months, all born MI.

     George Washington Holcombe was born in 1809 at CT.^1,2 He was the son of James Alderman Holcombe and Dorcas Trumbull.¹ George Washington Holcombe married Catherine Smith, daughter of David Smith and Catherine Blank.² George Washington Holcombe died in 1892.¹

George and Catherine were enumerated in the 1860 Fremont, Madison township, Sandusky Co., OH, federal census.

     Jenette Holcombe was born in 1812 at Gibsonburg, Sandusky Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of James Alderman Holcombe and Dorcas Trumbull.¹ Jenette Holcombe married Daniel Smith in 1834.^2,1 Jenette Holcombe died in 1863.¹

Jenette and Daniel were enumerated in the 1860 Fremont, Madison Township, Sandusky Co., OH federal census. It indicated that she was born in CT. Her mother, Dorcas, was living with them. The children listed here are based solely on that census.

     Moses Nelson Holcombe was born in 1820.¹ He was the son of James Alderman Holcombe and Dorcas Trumbull.¹ Moses Nelson Holcombe married Anna J. Taft.¹ Moses Nelson Holcombe died after 1850.¹

     Noble R. Holcombe was born in March 1850.¹ He was the son of James Trumbull Holcombe and Amanda Loomis.¹ Noble R. Holcombe married Hannah Mason in 1881.¹ Noble R. Holcombe died before 1920.¹

Noble and Hannah were enumerated in the 1910 Madison Twp., Sandusky Co., OH, federal census, page 8A. He was an oil pumper in an oil field, she was 52. Children in the household were Lester L. an oil pumper age 27, Luther W. a farm laborer age 24, Laurence M. age 17, Corinne J. age 14, and Addie age 10.

Hannah was enumerated in the 1920 Madison Twp., Sandusky Co., OH, federal census, page 8B. Children in the household were Lester 37, Luther 34, Lawrence 27, Corinne 24, and Alda 20.

     Samantha Holcombe was born circa 1844.² She was the daughter of James Trumbull Holcombe and Amanda Loomis.

     Meritt Holcombe was born circa 1841. He was the son of James Trumbull Holcombe and Amanda Loomis.¹

     Daniel Smith was born circa 1814 at PA.¹ He married Jenette Holcombe, daughter of James Alderman Holcombe and Dorcas Trumbull, in 1834.^1,2

     George Washington Smith was born in 1835.^1,2 He was the son of Daniel Smith and Jenette Holcombe.¹

     Edwin R. Smith was born in 1839 at Gibsonburg, Sandusky Co., OH.^1,2 He was the son of Daniel Smith and Jenette Holcombe.¹ Edwin R. Smith married Mary Jane Garn, daughter of Jacob Garn and Catherine Klotz.² Edwin R. Smith died in 1897 at Gibsonburg, Sandusky Co., OH.²

     Calesta A. Smith was born in 1843 at OH.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of Daniel Smith and Jenette Holcombe.¹ Calesta A. Smith married David Christian Fast, son of Sarah (?).² Calesta A. Smith died in 1922.²

David and Calesta were enumerated in the 1880 Bloom Township, Wood Co. OH, federal census, page 29, line 17. He was a farmer, age 45, she was keeping house, age 36. Rolla and Mary were in the household, as was David's mother, Sarah, age 68. Both of David's parents were born in PA.

     Leander Franklin Smith was born in 1845 at Sandusky Co., OH.^1,2 He was the son of Daniel Smith and Jenette Holcombe.¹ Leander Franklin Smith married Phoebe Hurlbut, daughter of D. Hurlbut and Maria Woodbury, in 1867.² Leander Franklin Smith died in January 1874.²

     Jasper Newton Smith was born in December 1848.^1,2 He was the son of Daniel Smith and Jenette Holcombe.¹ Jasper Newton Smith married Louise Klotz, daughter of Martin Klotz and Julia Metzgar, in 1875.² Jasper Newton Smith died in 1901.²

     Jeanette Smith was born in 1851.^1,2 She was the daughter of Daniel Smith and Jenette Holcombe.¹ Jeanette Smith died in 1940.²
