     Hannah Phelps married Timothy Loomis, son of Timothy Loomis and Rebecca Porter, on 5 April 1722.

     Esther Loomis was born on 14 November 1730. She was the daughter of Timothy Loomis and Hannah Phelps. Esther Loomis married Samuel Wells, son of Capt Samuel Wells and Esther Ellsworth, on 30 November 1755. Esther Loomis died on 2 March 1814 at age 83.

     Timothy Loomis was born on 30 July 1724. He was the son of Timothy Loomis and Hannah Phelps.

     Hannah Loomis was born on 23 December 1728. She was the daughter of Timothy Loomis and Hannah Phelps. Hannah Loomis died on 16 April 1742 at age 13.

     Ruth Wells was born in 1727. She was the daughter of Capt Samuel Wells and Esther Ellsworth.

     Ann Wells was born in 1727. She was the daughter of Capt Samuel Wells and Esther Ellsworth. Ann Wells died in 1813.

     John Wells was born in 1730. He was the son of Capt Samuel Wells and Esther Ellsworth. John Wells died in 1801.

     On Vol. I, Page 40, Bowman mentions two wives, both named Hills; on Vol. I, Page 92, however, Bowman only mentions one, Esther. Jonathan Wells was born in 1733. He was the son of Capt Samuel Wells and Esther Ellsworth. Jonathan Wells married Mabel Stanley Hills in 1796. Jonathan Wells died in 1816.

     Mabel Stanley Hills married Jonathan Wells, son of Capt Samuel Wells and Esther Ellsworth, in 1796.

     Hannah Wells was born in 1736. She was the daughter of Capt Samuel Wells and Esther Ellsworth.

     Rebecca Wells was born in 1743. She was the daughter of Capt Samuel Wells and Esther Ellsworth. Rebecca Wells died in 1793.

     Sarah Hunt was born on 26 February 1746. She was the daughter of Capt. Samuel Hunt and Hannah (Anna) Ellsworth. Sarah Hunt married Dr. Medad Pomeroy, son of Gen. Seth Pomeroy and Mary Hunt, on 15 October 1767.

     Dr. Medad Pomeroy was born on 12 November 1736 at Northampton, MA. He was the son of Gen. Seth Pomeroy and Mary Hunt. Dr. Medad Pomeroy married Sarah Hunt, daughter of Capt. Samuel Hunt and Hannah (Anna) Ellsworth, on 15 October 1767. Dr. Medad Pomeroy died on 28 October 1819 at Warwick, MA, at age 82.

     Lt. Samuel Hunt Jr. was born on 29 September 1734 at Northfield, Franklin Co., MA.² He was the son of Capt. Samuel Hunt and Hannah (Anna) Ellsworth. Lt. Samuel Hunt Jr. married Esther Strong, daughter of Lt. Caleb Strong and Phebe Lyman, on 2 December 1760.² Lt. Samuel Hunt Jr. died on 24 August 1799 at age 64.²

"Esther's family friends were very loth to have her go so far away, hardly expecting to see her ever again. She went to her new home on horseback being guided on their way only by marks cut in the trees, while her effects went up the Connecticut river by boat.

"Samuel was commissioned April 27, 1759, Third Lieutenant in him Majesty's service at No. 4 (Charlestown, N.H.), by Gov. Pownall of the province of Mass. Bay. During the Revolutionary war he was for some time commissary at Charlestown, a point of concentration for the American troops under Gen. Stark. He was also high sheriff of the county and held at different times various local offices of honor and trust. Though small of stature he was energetic and brave. He went once with several deputies to arrest a noted horse thief (Shem Canfield) who had armed himself and hidden in the woods. His subordinates were afraid to arrest him when found as he declared that he would shoot any one who made the the attempt. 'No! you will not,' said Lt. Hunt, and went right up and captured him. He was a farmer at Charlestown, N.H. and quite wealthy." -- Benjamin Dwight.

     Esther Strong was born on 12 February 1741.² She was the daughter of Lt. Caleb Strong and Phebe Lyman. Esther Strong married Lt. Samuel Hunt Jr., son of Capt. Samuel Hunt and Hannah (Anna) Ellsworth, on 2 December 1760.² Esther Strong died on 20 November 1806 at age 65; of paralysis.

     Oliver Stoughton was born on 19 May 1727. He was the son of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth.

     Gustavis Stoughton was born on 25 July 1733. He was the son of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth.

     Drowned near Lord Howe's Point on Lake George. John Stoughton was born on 22 November 1735. He was the son of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth. John Stoughton married Ruth Belden on 22 January 1765. John Stoughton died in November 1766.

     Ruth Belden married John Stoughton, son of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth, on 22 January 1765. Ruth Belden died in 1807 at "Missing Place" no. 5164.

     Alice Stoughton was born on 1 May 1736. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth.

     Joseph Stoughton was born on 31 July 1738. He was the son of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth.

     Alice Stoughton married John Bliss. Alice Stoughton was born on 10 October 1743. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth. Alice Stoughton died on 27 July 1802 at age 58.

     John Bliss married Alice Stoughton, daughter of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth. John Bliss died on 14 May 1780.

     Nathaniel Stoughton was born on 6 March 1746. He was the son of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth. Nathaniel Stoughton married Abigail Potwine, daughter of Thomas Potwine, in 1773. Nathaniel Stoughton died in 1815.

     Martha Stoughton was born on 23 August 1748. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth. Martha Stoughton married Cotton Mather, son of Timothy Mather and Sarah Marshall, in 1769 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Cotton Mather was born in 1745 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Timothy Mather and Sarah Marshall. Cotton Mather married Martha Stoughton, daughter of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth, in 1769 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Cotton Mather died on 26 November 1791.

     Timothy Mather was born on 23 April 1710. He was the son of Dr. Samuel Mather and Abigail Grant. Timothy Mather married Sarah Marshall in 1733 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Timothy Mather died on 6 April 1752 at age 41.

     Ann Grant was born on 18 November 1739 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Ebenezer Grant and Ann Ellsworth. Ann Grant died on 21 October 1747 at age 7.

     Eunice Grant was born on 21 October 1741 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Ebenezer Grant and Ann Ellsworth. Eunice Grant died on 28 October 1747 at age 6.

     Ebenezer Grant was born on 24 April 1744 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. Ebenezer Grant and Ann Ellsworth. Ebenezer Grant died on 4 December 1747 at age 3.

     Col. Roswell Grant was born on 9 March 1745/46 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. Ebenezer Grant and Ann Ellsworth. Col. Roswell Grant married Fluvia Wolcott, daughter of Gen. Erastus Wolcott and Jerusah Wolcott, on 20 August 1783. Col. Roswell Grant died on 31 December 1834 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 88.

     Fluvia Wolcott was born on 5 January 1754 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Gen. Erastus Wolcott and Jerusah Wolcott. Fluvia Wolcott married Col. Roswell Grant, son of Capt. Ebenezer Grant and Ann Ellsworth, on 20 August 1783. Fluvia Wolcott died on 23 May 1827 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 73.

     General Erastus Wolcott settled in South Windsor, was repeatedly a Representative of the Town in the General Assembly and also Speaker of the Lower House and Justice of the Peace, Judge of Probate, Judge and Chief Judge of the County Court, Representative in Congress, and Judge of the Superior Court. He held the rank of Brigadier-General of the Connecticut Troops in the Revolutionary War. Buried with his wife in the old Chruch-yard of South Windsor. Gen. Erastus Wolcott was born on 21 September 1722. He was the son of Gov. Roger Wolcott and Sarah Drake. Gen. Erastus Wolcott married Jerusah Wolcott, daughter of John Wolcott and Hannah Newberry, on 10 February 1746. Gen. Erastus Wolcott died on 14 September 1793 at age 70.

     Jerusah Wolcott was born on 18 January 1718 or 1719. She was the daughter of John Wolcott and Hannah Newberry. Jerusah Wolcott married Gen. Erastus Wolcott, son of Gov. Roger Wolcott and Sarah Drake, on 10 February 1746. Jerusah Wolcott died on 2 June 1789.

     Massena Holcombe was born circa 1823 at MA.¹ He was the son of MA Holcombe.¹ Massena Holcombe married Mariah A. (?).¹ Massena Holcombe married Frances (?).²

Massena and Mariah were enumerated in the 1850 Colesville, Broome Co., NY, federal census, page 32. He was a farmer age 26, she was 18. Also in the household was the family of Anisa Clark.

Massena was enumerated in the 1860 Colesville, Broome Co., NY, federal census, page 2. His wife was listed as Frances, age 22. However, the oldest child listed is Wilson, age 8, hardly the son of Frances, so probably Mariah died after Wilson's birth and quite after the births of the second or third children, Arnest and Mary.

     Her married name was Mrs. Mariah A. Holcombe. Mariah A. (?) was born circa 1831 at NY.¹ She married Massena Holcombe, son of MA Holcombe.¹

     Joanna Cook was born on 5 August 1638. She was the daughter of Aaron Cooke and Mary Ford. Joanna Cook married Simon Wolcott, son of Henry Wolcott Sr. and Elizabeth Saunders, on 19 March 1657. Joanna Cook died on 27 April 1657 at age 18.

     Lived in South Windsor and was one of the original proprietors of Tolland. Simon Wolcott was born on 24 June 1666. He was the son of Simon Wolcott and Martha Pitkin. Simon Wolcott married Sarah Chester, daughter of Capt. John Chester, on 5 December 1689. Simon Wolcott died on 28 October 1732 at age 66.

     Caroline Darrin was born circa October 1859 at NY.¹ She was the daughter of Olias Darrin and Violet Holcombe.¹

     Christopher Wolcott was born on 4 July 1672. He was the son of Simon Wolcott and Martha Pitkin. Christopher Wolcott died on 3 April 1693 at age 20.

     Mary Wolcott was born in 1674. She was the daughter of Simon Wolcott and Martha Pitkin. Mary Wolcott died in 1676.

     Joanna Wolcott was born on 30 June 1668. She was the daughter of Simon Wolcott and Martha Pitkin.
