     Ella Florence Ensign was born on 19 May 1854 at Nelson, Madison Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of David C. Ensign and Hester Ann Sanford.¹ Ella Florence Ensign died on 19 February 1874 at age 19.¹

     Betsey Grover was born on 13 August 1821 at Nelson, Madison Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Nelson Grover and Tyrza (?).¹ Betsey Grover married Zebe S. Ensign, son of Zebe Ensign and Sarah Case, on 7 June 1847 at Nelson, Madison Co., NY.¹ Betsey Grover died on 1 October 1872 at age 51.¹ She was buried at Erieville, NY.¹

     Duane Edwin Ensign was born on 17 December 1859 at Georgetown, NY.¹ He was the son of Zebe S. Ensign and Betsey Grover. Duane Edwin Ensign married Emma Jane Towne, daughter of Amos H. Towne and Emma J. Parsons, on 5 December 1888 at Sanquoit, NY.² Duane Edwin Ensign married Harriett Grover on 20 June 1936.² Duane Edwin Ensign died on 15 June 1950 at McGrawville, Courtland Co., NY, at age 90.²

     Nancy J. Terrell was born on 20 June 1820.¹ She married Asa N. Ensign, son of Zebe Ensign and Sarah Case, on 28 December 1843.¹ Nancy J. Terrell died on 31 July 1873 at age 53.¹

     Wellington Ensign was born on 24 February 1845 at Pitcher, Chenango Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Asa N. Ensign and Nancy J. Terrell.¹

     Amarynth Ensign was born on 19 July 1859 at Pitcher, Chenango Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Asa N. Ensign and Nancy J. Terrell. Amarynth Ensign married Charles R. White on 28 February 1875 at Morrisville, Clinton Co., NY.² Amarynth Ensign died in November 1894 at age 35.²

     Mary A. White was born circa 1825.¹ She married Nathan P. Ensign, son of Zebe Ensign and Sarah Case, on 18 October 1854.¹

     Joel Zebe Ensign was born on 18 October 1855 at Nelson, Madison Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Nathan P. Ensign and Mary A. White.¹

     A. Jennie Ensign was born on 22 May 1861 at Nelson, Madison Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Nathan P. Ensign and Mary A. White.¹

     Mary Louise Holcombe was born on 24 December 1832.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Darrow Holcombe and Mary Husted.¹ Mary Louise Holcombe died on 18 October 1914 at age 81.¹

     Julia Ellen Holcombe was born on 12 March 1848.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Darrow Holcombe and Cynthia Husted.¹ Julia Ellen Holcombe died on 24 November 1848.¹

     Rollin Holcombe was born on 2 January 1870.¹ He was the son of Wilbur Samuel Holcombe and Mary Livermore.¹ Rollin Holcombe died on 14 July 1941 at age 71.¹

Rolliin was enumerated in the 1920 Addison, Addison Co., VT federal census. He was a dairy farmer, age 50, married, but no wife was enumerated. Children in the household were Marin E. 18, and Mildred L. 16 (ages were faint). Also enumerated were mother Mary L. 74, and sister Ella M. 45.
Rollin was enumerated in the 1930 Bridport, Addison Co., VT federal census. He was a mechanic age 60, with no other family members in the household.

     Rosanna Case was born on 14 February 1774 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Moses Case and Lucy Wilcox.¹ Rosanna Case married Israel Graham.¹ Rosanna Case married Jedediah Case Jr., son of Jedediah Case and Mercy Hart, on 10 September 1816 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² Rosanna Case died on 29 November 1840 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 66.¹

     Israel Graham was born on 26 March 1767.¹ He married Rosanna Case, daughter of Moses Case and Lucy Wilcox.¹ Israel Graham died on 18 August 1813 at North Canton, Hartford Co., CT, at age 46.¹

     Roxanna Melissa Case was born on 28 November 1817 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Jedediah Case Jr. and Rosanna Case.¹ Roxanna Melissa Case married Charles Wellesly Ensign, son of Austin Ensign and Laura Minerva Beach, on 16 September 1845 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT.^1,2 Roxanna Melissa Case died on 21 August 1888 at Tariffville, Hartford Co., CT, at age 70.¹

     Charles Wellesly Ensign was born on 31 March 1814 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 He was the son of Austin Ensign and Laura Minerva Beach.³ Charles Wellesly Ensign married Roxanna Melissa Case, daughter of Jedediah Case Jr. and Rosanna Case, on 16 September 1845 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT.^1,2 Charles Wellesly Ensign died on 4 February 1861 at age 46.^2,1

     Austin Ensign was born on 17 November 1791 at West Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Diodate Johnson Ensign and Rhoda Phelps.² Austin Ensign married Laura Minerva Beach, daughter of Charles Beach and Wealthy Foote, on 23 September 1812 at Tariffville, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Austin Ensign died on 13 April 1855 at age 63.¹

     Laura Minerva Beach was born on 5 February 1795 at West Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Beach and Wealthy Foote.¹ Laura Minerva Beach married Austin Ensign, son of Diodate Johnson Ensign and Rhoda Phelps, on 23 September 1812 at Tariffville, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Laura Minerva Beach died on 26 April 1857 at age 62.¹

     Diodate Johnson Ensign was born on 22 March 1768 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Eleazer Ensign and Lydia Bushnell.² Diodate Johnson Ensign married Rhoda Phelps, daughter of Capt. Austin Phelps and Deborah Moore, on 10 January 1791.¹ Diodate Johnson Ensign died on 5 May 1804 at age 36.¹

     Rhoda Phelps was born on 29 April 1770 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Capt. Austin Phelps and Deborah Moore.¹ Rhoda Phelps married Diodate Johnson Ensign, son of Eleazer Ensign and Lydia Bushnell, on 10 January 1791.¹ Rhoda Phelps died on 7 October 1847 at age 77.¹

     Capt. Austin Phelps was born in 1740 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Jonathan Phelps and Martha Loomis. Capt. Austin Phelps married Deborah Moore, daughter of Thomas Moore and Hannah Gillett, on 27 October 1768.^1,2

     Deborah Moore was born on 19 August 1745 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.² She was the daughter of Thomas Moore and Hannah Gillett. Deborah Moore married Capt. Austin Phelps, son of Jonathan Phelps and Martha Loomis, on 27 October 1768.^1,2

     Eleazer Ensign was baptized on 9 October 1737 at West Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Daniel Ensign and Abigail Goodman.² Eleazer Ensign married Lydia Bushnell.¹ Eleazer Ensign died on 5 September 1802 at age 64.¹

     Lydia Bushnell was born in 1742 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She married Eleazer Ensign, son of Daniel Ensign and Abigail Goodman.¹ Lydia Bushnell died on 13 June 1817 at East Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Daniel Ensign was born on 19 March 1703/4 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Thomas Ensign and Hannah Shepard. Daniel Ensign married Abigail Goodman, daughter of Richard Goodman and Abigail Pantry. Daniel Ensign died on 23 July 1774 at age 70.¹

     Abigail Goodman was baptized on 26 March 1704 at West Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Goodman and Abigail Pantry.¹ Abigail Goodman married Daniel Ensign, son of Thomas Ensign and Hannah Shepard.

     Laura Melissa Ensign was born on 4 November 1846 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Wellesly Ensign and Roxanna Melissa Case. Laura Melissa Ensign married Samuel Foote Cadwell, son of Ami Cadwell and Fannie Elmira Cook, on 30 January 1873.² Laura Melissa Ensign died on 30 August 1885 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, at age 38.²

     Charles Austin Ensign was born on 31 March 1850 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Charles Wellesly Ensign and Roxanna Melissa Case.¹ Charles Austin Ensign married Sarah Jeanette Toy on 2 December 1890.¹ Charles Austin Ensign died on 15 November 1923 at age 73.¹

     Sarah Jeanette Toy was born on 26 October 1857 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She married Charles Edson Curtiss, son of Ebenezer G. Curtiss and Mary Norton.¹ Sarah Jeanette Toy and Charles Edson Curtiss were divorced.¹ Sarah Jeanette Toy married Charles Austin Ensign, son of Charles Wellesly Ensign and Roxanna Melissa Case, on 2 December 1890.¹ Sarah Jeanette Toy died on 6 August 1928 at age 70.¹

     Charles Edson Curtiss was born on 8 March 1850. He was the son of Ebenezer G. Curtiss and Mary Norton. Charles Edson Curtiss married Sarah Jeanette Toy.¹ Charles Edson Curtiss and Sarah Jeanette Toy were divorced.¹ Charles Edson Curtiss died on 17 March 1933 at age 83.
