     Russell Loomis was born on 5 August 1769 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Luke Loomis and Experience Carver. Russell Loomis died on 23 March 1816 at Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH, at age 46.¹

     Sereno Gillett Loomis was born on 24 April 1821 at Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH.^2,3 He was the son of Elizur Loomis and Arbana Holcombe.¹ Sereno Gillett Loomis married Jane Ann Noble, daughter of Augustus Noble and Helen Fralick, on 29 April 1852.^2,3 Sereno Gillett Loomis died on 18 June 1903 at Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH, at age 82.²
