     Lydia Maria Noble was born on 21 August 1812.¹ She was the daughter of Jonathan Noble and Hannah Buell.¹ Lydia Maria Noble married Henry Slack, son of Ezekiel Slack and Jane Smith, on 13 April 1837.¹

Henry was a blacksmith. He removed, in June, 1837, to Galena, OH, in October 1838, to Blendon, OH, in August 1841, to Genoa, Delaware Co., OH, and in 1848 to Oxford (Ashley P.O.), Delaware Co., OH.²

     Henry Slack was born on 28 December 1808 at Lycoming Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Ezekiel Slack and Jane Smith.¹ Henry Slack married Lydia Maria Noble, daughter of Jonathan Noble and Hannah Buell, on 13 April 1837.¹

     John Slack died on 12 December 1838 at Blendon, Franklin Co., OH.¹ He was born on 12 December 1838 at Blendon, Franklin Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Henry Slack and Lydia Maria Noble.¹

     George Slack was born on 24 December 1840 at Blendon, Franklin Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Henry Slack and Lydia Maria Noble.¹

George worked on the farm until 27 May 1861, when he enlisted in Co. C, 26th Ohio Vol. Infantry. His regiment left for West Virginia, August 1, 1861, landed February 1862, at Louisville, KY, marched to Nashville, Tenn., and thence to the battle-field of Shiloh, was a the capture of Corinth, Miss., had an engagement at McMinville, Tenn., was with Buell's army on the retreat to Louisville, and in the advance south had engagements at Bardstown and Perryville, KY. In Dec., 1862, the army met the enemy at Lavergne, Tenn., and two days later was at Stone River, where his regiment lost over one hundred men. In June 1863, the army marched to Chattanooga, Tenn., and on Sept. 19th and 20th the battle of Chickamauga was fought. On the evening of Sept. 19th, George Slack received four wounds and had his right arm amputated on the battle-field. He was discharged at Cincinnati, OH, July 1, 1864. He was appointed, Jan 1, 1866, superintendent of the Ohio flag and relic rooms at the state house in Columbus, and retains the office, Oct., 1875.²

     Hannah Slack was born on 23 April 1848 at Genoa, Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Slack and Lydia Maria Noble.¹

     William Slack was born on 13 August 1852 at Oxford, Delaware Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Henry Slack and Lydia Maria Noble.¹

     Adelia Slack was born on 13 December 1853 at Oxford, Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Slack and Lydia Maria Noble.¹

     Myron Jonathan Noble was born on 19 March 1815.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Noble and Hannah Buell.¹ Myron Jonathan Noble married Catharine Scovell, daughter of Hurlbut Scovell and Mary (?), on 27 June 1848.¹

Myron was a farmer, he removed, in 1850, to Summit, Ind.²

     Catharine Scovell was born on 3 December 1829 at Galena, Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Hurlbut Scovell and Mary (?).¹ Catharine Scovell married Myron Jonathan Noble, son of Jonathan Noble and Hannah Buell, on 27 June 1848.¹

     Almira Noble was born on 5 April 1849.¹ She was the daughter of Myron Jonathan Noble and Catharine Scovell.¹

     Mary Noble was born on 23 August 1853.¹ She was the daughter of Myron Jonathan Noble and Catharine Scovell.¹

     Henry Miles Noble was born on 1 September 1817.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Noble and Hannah Buell.¹

Henry was a farmer; he removed, in Nov., 1853, to Marshall, IA, at which date he was unmarried.²

     Elijah Sherman Noble was born on 9 March 1820.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Noble and Hannah Buell.¹ Elijah Sherman Noble married Phebe Turney, daughter of Daniel Turney and Susannah (?), on 30 December 1847.¹

Elijah moved, Oct., 1853, to Marshall, Henry Co., Iowa.²

     Phebe Turney was born on 23 March 1821.¹ She was the daughter of Daniel Turney and Susannah (?).¹ Phebe Turney married Elijah Sherman Noble, son of Jonathan Noble and Hannah Buell, on 30 December 1847.¹

     Laura Ellen Noble was born on 27 December 1848.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Sherman Noble and Phebe Turney.¹

     Clayton George Noble was born on 14 February 1852.¹ He was the son of Elijah Sherman Noble and Phebe Turney.¹

     Horace Jarvis Noble was born on 9 December 1821.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Noble and Hannah Buell.¹ Horace Jarvis Noble died on 14 September 1844 at age 22.¹

     Eliza Jane Noble was born on 6 June 1823.¹ She was the daughter of Jonathan Noble and Hannah Buell.¹ Eliza Jane Noble married Stephen Cook on 7 October 1843.¹

     Myron N. Cook was born on 14 August 1844.¹ He was the son of Stephen Cook and Eliza Jane Noble.¹

     Silas Noble was born on 19 January 1789 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger.¹ Silas Noble married Huldah Keep, daughter of Sylvanus Keep.² Silas Noble died on 12 November 1841 at Blanford, Hampden Co., MA, at age 52.²

     Roland Noble was born on 5 March 1791 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger.¹ Roland Noble married Roxa Frost, daughter of David Frost, on 2 October 1817.²

     Reuben Noble was born on 26 February 1793 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger.¹ Reuben Noble married Cynthia Gowdy, daughter of Alexander Gowdy and Hannah McGregory, on 27 January 1820.² Reuben Noble died on 24 April 1855 at Granville, Hampden Co., MA, at age 62.²

     Lucy Noble was born on 27 March 1795 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger.¹ Lucy Noble died on 21 August 1821 at age 26; at the birth of her only child.²

     Albert Noble was born on 24 November 1797 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger.¹ Albert Noble married Lucy Floyd, daughter of Robert Floyd, on 27 January 1820.² Albert Noble married Marville Litchfield, daughter of Ensign Litchfield.²

     Charoltte Noble was born on 17 March 1800 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger.¹ Charoltte Noble married Samuel Knox in October 1819.² Charoltte Noble died on 5 August 1850 at age 50.²

     Seth Noble was born on 20 January 1802 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger.¹ Seth Noble married Mary McIntire, daughter of Ely McIntire and Diana Robinson, on 16 November 1826.² Seth Noble married Maria Leper, daughter of Joseph Leper and Rebecca Fairchilds, on 6 December 1853.²

Seth resided after his marriage, in West Springfield, Mass., until Sept., 1833, when he removed to Eaton, Lorain Co., O., and in July, 1836, to Marion (P.O. Byron), Ogle Co., Ill., where he, 1877 resides. He was by trade a wagon-maker, but became a farmer on his removal to Ohio.³

     Mary Ann Noble was born on 7 January 1809 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger.¹ Mary Ann Noble married Benjamin Bennet on 25 December 1828.² Mary Ann Noble died on 26 July 1842 at age 33.²
