     William Alonzo Noble was born on 31 March 1841 at Springville, PA.¹ He was the son of Justus Holcomb Noble and Eliza Ann Wheeler.¹

     Oliver Adelbert Noble was born on 2 January 1843 at Springville, PA.¹ He was the son of Justus Holcomb Noble and Eliza Ann Wheeler.¹

     Harriet Louisa Noble was born on 21 December 1844 at Brookville, WI.¹ She was the daughter of Justus Holcomb Noble and Eliza Ann Wheeler.¹

     Frederick Justus Noble was born on 8 August 1853 at Fennimore, WI.¹ He was the son of Justus Holcomb Noble and Eliza Ann Wheeler.¹

     Osher Alphonso Noble was born on 13 September 1855 at Fennimore, WI.¹ He was the son of Justus Holcomb Noble and Eliza Ann Wheeler.¹

     Hannah Welsh married Luke Noble Jr., son of Sgt. Luke Noble and Hannah Stebbins, after 27 November 1762.¹ Hannah Welsh died on 16 September 1768.¹

     Hannah Noble was born on 12 November 1724.¹ She was the daughter of Luke Noble Jr. and Elizabeth Sackett.¹ Hannah Noble married James Root on 26 March 1751.² Hannah Noble died at Great Barrington, Berkshire Co., MA.³

Hannah joined the Westfield church Oct. 27, 1741, and the Great Barrington church, Feb. 5, 1744. James and Hannah purchased land and buildings in Great Barrington, Mass., in 1750, and probably removed thither the same year. He united with the Cong. church there, in 1750. For many years they lived at the crossing of the river, at the upper end of the town. They may have subsequently removed to Egremont, Mass.⁴

     William Root was baptized on 25 March 1759.¹ He was the son of James Root and Hannah Noble. William Root married Rhoda Fitch, daughter of Capt. Ephraim Fitch and Lydia Root.² William Root lived at Great Barrington, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ He lived at Claverack, NY.¹

William enlisted at the age of sixteen years in the revolutionary war, and fought in many battles. "At the storming and taking of Stony Point, under Gen. Wayne, being only nineteen years of age, he led a platoon into the fort in the midst of the greatest carnage."³

Ephraim Fitch married Lydia Root on 27 April 1757 at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ Capt. Ephraim Fitch died on 18 August 1807 at Oxford, Chenango Co., NY, at age 71.¹

     Lydia Root was baptized on 26 August 1737 at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ She married Capt. Ephraim Fitch, son of Joshua Fitch and Mary Trumbull, on 27 April 1757 at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ Lydia Root died on 4 March 1787 at age 49.¹

     Joshua Fitch was born on 13 February 1703/4 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Capt Nathaniel Fitch and Ann Abel.² Joshua Fitch married Mary Trumbull, daughter of Joseph Trumbull and Hannah Higley, circa 1730 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.¹ Joshua Fitch died on 7 June 1790 at Salisbury, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 86.¹
