     Henrietta Elmina Dunton was born on 27 September 1842 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of William Brown Dunton and Harriet Aminda Humphrey.¹ Henrietta Elmina Dunton lived at Creston, Union Co., IA.¹

     Almon Soloman Dunton was born on 21 January 1845 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ He was the son of William Brown Dunton and Harriet Aminda Humphrey.¹ Almon Soloman Dunton died in June 1863 at Milliken's Bend, LA, at age 18.¹

Almon was a Sgt., Co. I, 22nd I. V. I. He was appointed Second Sergeant and while n the march to Vicksburgh he was taken sick, and died in the hospital at Milliken's Bend.²

     Marilda Eliza Dunton was born on 16 July 1847 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of William Brown Dunton and Harriet Aminda Humphrey.¹ Marilda Eliza Dunton lived at Syracuse, NE.¹

     Mehitable Hayes was born on 14 September 1786 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.³ She was the daughter of Seth Hayes and Mehitable Topping.² Mehitable Hayes married Jonathan Church. Mehitable Hayes died on 4 May 1871 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 84.^4,5

     Jonathan Church was born say 1783; based on age at death. He married Mehitable Hayes, daughter of Seth Hayes and Mehitable Topping. Jonathan Church died on 2 January 1853.¹

     Hilpah Hayes was born on 16 March 1782 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 She was the daughter of Seth Hayes and Mehitable Topping.¹ Hilpah Hayes married David Goodrich, son of Elizur Goodrich and Penelope Holcombe, on 11 September 1803 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Hilpah Hayes died on 3 March 1860 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 77.^1,2

     Laura Goodrich was born on 6 June 1810.^1,2 She was the daughter of David Goodrich and Hilpah Hayes.¹ Laura Goodrich married Lewis Elmore, son of Asa Elmore and Marcia Hall, on 16 December 1835 at Albany, Albany Co., NY.²

     

Silas and Melissa were enumerated in the 1850 Grangy, Hartford Co., CT, federal census. He was a farmer, age 71, she was 65. Melissa Hayes was born on 26 October 1783.¹ She was the daughter of Seth Hayes and Mehitable Topping.¹ Melissa Hayes married Judge Silas Higley, son of Ozias Higley and Martha Gillette, circa 1805 at Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 Melissa Hayes died on 16 May 1858 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 74.¹

     Judge Silas Higley was born in 1780 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Ozias Higley and Martha Gillette.² Judge Silas Higley married Melissa Hayes, daughter of Seth Hayes and Mehitable Topping, circa 1805 at Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 Judge Silas Higley died on 21 June 1853 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2

     Mary Theresa Higley was born say 1808. She was the daughter of Judge Silas Higley and Melissa Hayes.¹ Mary Theresa Higley married Dr. Jairus Case, son of Levi Case and Polly Humphrey, on 5 October 1830 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.^2,1,3

The Hayes genealogy incorrectly identifies her as Melissa. Her gravestone and all Granby records refer to her as Mary Theresa.

     Dr. Jairus Case was born on 20 March 1802 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.^2,3 He was the son of Levi Case and Polly Humphrey. Dr. Jairus Case married Mary Theresa Higley, daughter of Judge Silas Higley and Melissa Hayes, on 5 October 1830 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.^3,1,4 Dr. Jairus Case died on 30 December 1874 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 72.^2,3

     William Lemuel Dunton was born on 16 August 1848 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ He was the son of William Brown Dunton and Harriet Aminda Humphrey.

William married and had children. In 1883 they were resideing in Palmyra, Neb.²

     Lucian Horace Dunton was born on 24 April 1851 at Johnson Co., IA.^1,2 He was the son of William Brown Dunton and Harriet Aminda Humphrey. Lucian Horace Dunton married Augusta Way, daughter of Thomas Way and Mary Irene Chapman, on 10 October 1879 at Red Oak, Montgomery Co., IA.³ Lucian Horace Dunton died on 13 April 1913 at Creston, IA, at age 61.³

Lucian and Augusta were enumerated in the 1900 Spaulding, Union Co., IA, federal census. He was a farmer, age 49, she was 36. Augusta had 3 children, 2 still living; Goldie A. 17, and Leverne H. 7.

Lucian and Augusta were enumerated in the 1910 Spaulding, Union Co., IA, federal census. He was a farmer age 58, she was 46. Goldie had died and the only remaining child was still in the household, Laverne, 17.

     Emily Adelia Dunton was born on 3 June 1854.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Brown Dunton and Harriet Aminda Humphrey.

Emily and Edwin have children and in 1883 lived in Syracuse, NE.³

     Hannah L. McMaster was born in November 1849 or December 1849.¹ She was the daughter of William Abrose McMaster and Margaret Eaton.

Hannah is not mentioned in the Humphreys Family genealogy, but is in the Scioto Company Descendants, with the comment "no further information."

     Mary Geach married Pierson P. Slack.¹ Mary Geach died before 22 September 1881.

     Ann Thompson was born on 28 January 1752 at Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of John Thompson and Bridget Almy. Ann Thompson married (?) Almy.¹ Ann Thompson married Alexander Morrison, son of William Morrison and Sarah Montgomery, after 30 October 1776 at Blanford, Hampden Co., MA.¹ Ann Thompson died on 2 February 1783 at Blanford, Hampden Co., MA, at age 31.¹

     (?) Almy married Ann Thompson, daughter of John Thompson and Bridget Almy.¹ (?) Almy died before 30 October 1776.¹
